map files as in .mat? If its an .mat file, just click edit, then import then you can browse for it on your hard drive. As far as obj files, those I believe u can just import through file

yup, vasquez said it all...nothing you can do about it really. Only the meshes like lattices, terrains, rocks and i think trees can be....other than that Bryce can only export as an obp file

yup, smae prob here...its really annoying when you want to click on another window from the taskbar and realize that you have to minimize Bryce first (really a pain when Bryce gets overloaded with objects and starts choking up all the memory)...but oh well, Im learning to deal with it :-
