I called. You need the physical card (no brainer) AND the receipt from when you bought it or they say they will not process the claim. I probably still have the receipt but with the holidays and all I have to go find it. Because I didn't actually buy anything with it it's not with my bills or warranties.

I believe the Don & Judy Characters came out with Poser 5 which was about 2003. For their time they were very well done. But I think they were before Lipsynch was built in to characters. Software for lipsycnch began about that time but was separate until it was built in to Poser 7, which was formally released around December of 2006.

Don and Judy, I believe were designed to share some texture maps with Daz's Vicky 1 and Michael 1 which may be of some help if you can find a software for them. It implies some similarity of figure construction.

I sent an email about this earlier to Renderosity support with more specifics.

First, this isn't a credit card. It's a Debit Gift card. They are very simple and only take zip code entry so there's not much to check. I've been using Debit cards on Renderosity since 2009 when I started in 3D. I use the debit gift cards for safety, as in the issue that Renderosity had with stolen credit card numbers a year or so back. I didn't have to worry about it.

An unnecessary pending hold on a Debit Giftcard can be devastating, however. I see that as Bondware's problem (by the way, Bondware used to show up as the charger, now it is showing as Renderosity, which is new).

The debit gift card companies are not set up so you can easily contact them like you can your credit card bank. They just don't respond unless you initiate a charge dispute and send them your life's history in writing. Then they kick it back and say the same thing, that the merchant can apply to take the hold off. By that time the problem has probably resolved itself so you no longer care until the next time at which point you probably won't contact the gift card company again.

I don't know what an AVS is, sorry. When the sale didn't go through, I reviewed all the information provided and I tried again. It does happen sometimes that I make an entry wrong, and for some reason most usually it is in the expiration date or if it is a second try, in forgetting the cv.

I haven't had this problem before at Renderosity or with any other merchant. Typically the problem is that the transaction simply isn't allowed at all until the system figures out what it is.

I'm told some companies [ccc, banks] actually do this (put pending holds on cards) on purpose because there are interest fees that they get by holding the money. Customers don't see it because the charges don't show up on their credit card statements. To see how they're losing money they would have to calculate what the monthly interest charge should be on the statement and then compare it to what it actually is, which is of course higher due to the practice as interest is calculated on a revolving balance. How many people do this? How many people know how to calculate their monthly interest charge? It also affects credit scores to the effect it lowers your available credit due to the higher balance.

I don't think the companies get any money with my debit card, however, and debit card holders (i.e., me) see this shady practice right away, as in today's example. Although I hope this is an accident and Bondware/Renderosity is not getting into this practice.

If Bondware isn't going to recognize Giftcards and is going to start pulling this on me, my purchasing days at Renderosity will be coming to a close. I can't have pending charges duplicated at random on a card. I just checked the card status and funds remain unavailable. My sale is over. This particular card is effectively dead to me until some nebulus intermediary decides to reverse the charges in a week or so,.

It would help if Renderosity had a mechanism to immediately reverse the false transaction and take the hold off.

Usually the dates match the times when I've made a purchase (eg 10/23, 11:54PM) and as such I suspect somebody (accidentally?) re-did the transaction on 10/24. I don't know if it's on Rendo's side since it would be a weird time for somebody to be working back office, but I'm hoping Rendo can help.

Getting a little bit smarter, this time I downloaded the files, checked them and installed them into my Runtime before venturing a comment. This time it worked!

I now have the Four missing textures thanks to your efforts.

I've had this hairstyle since Halloween 2009 and did use it. I guess I assumed I just didn't download the textures correctly; I was new at the time. But now that I have a more powerful computer than the old XP I had been working with I find that I'm going back and doing a lot more with older items, too. In the past I'd have to choose carefully between a lush hairstyle and what clothing a figure would wear, never mind a SET and or multiple figures. Forget camera effects.

Now though I appreciate some of these older models more because they are still very attractive and they are also memory efficient.

Poser Addict. Dazaholic. Yep. There's something to this 3D stuff.

It has the V4 and A3 Geometry updates, which were in the updated files already, but not the missing four textures.

The four Bonus textures are still missing.

No refund is necessary even if you do not. I feel you (Rendo) AND the vendor earned the purchase.

I don't know what Rendo's policy is, but according to my search there was also a product by Breeze - textures for Lola hair - that Rendo carried that went clearance and is now unavailable. Maybe I could still purchase that? It says 30 colors and it may have some similar to the missing ones.

Kristi, thank you very much for taking the time on the links. I apologize. It's not the zombie or Apocalypse Charcters (you found some cool ones), It's just the Drool Prop or figure. Saliva. I didn't see any Drool in the products and I checked all the readmes in addition to the description. I could be missing something.

WheatPenny, You're closest, but you're right. I found that freebie and I don't know how to make it useful.

I do remember a drool prop related somehow to Flags and a monster that was like a Tryannosaurus, but I think it was only useful for that particular monster not other Poser human-like characters. I don't know where it was or who had it. I did a general Google for drool on all sites and came up with Nada except a few false positives.

I would have thought that SOMEONE would have made a salacious DROOL prop for Poser figures by now and it would be easy to find. But apparently it's not..
