The reason why it takes long to render some scenes, it's because of the materials your are using, if they are very complex, they take longer, but simple materials, render's faster.:-) Art

BMP is the best format, I dont really see a diference between PSD format, but BMP retains the quality for PC. Hope this helps!!! Art

Well, all I know,is that you must export an object or character, you must export as Wavefront object, then import the object into Bryce. :-)

The Light Lab is probably one of the best features, if you now how to master it!!! it has wondeful and endless capabilities. :-) Tree Lab is useful, but not that necessary

For any reason, did you mess with the directory files or Filter, plug-Ins, maybe it searches for something that is no longer installed!!.

Do you have enough disk space on your hard drive?

Well, that's a little complicated, but maybe if you have photoshop and Eyecandy 4000, the job will be much easier, just use the rope and circle the Pillar and apply the Fire filter, then just adjust it the way you want it. Hope this helps. :-) Art Lagunas

Yeah, probably your best bet, is postwork with Photoshop using the Xenofex Filter to achieve better looking lightning.

Bryce lightning requires a network of multiple computers, it renders images just a "Lightning", that's the big advantage, but for home users, it's quite a shame :-(
