I have had problems with Maconstructor, it keeps telling me that it is low on memory and try it with fewer number of items.  Do you have any suggestions?  My guess is that the cr2 is just so frigging big it can't handle it.

Storm is right, you do sound a lot like Ron Nights.  Why do you alow a forum like this to work you up so much?  It doesn't affect anyones life very dramatically, if a forum bothers you then your free to express your opinion but please don't force your personal philosophy onto others.  Just so you know, this is not an attack on you or your personal philosophies but means to tell you that if you are bothered by a forums content you're always free to not be bothered by it by not reading it and doing something else.

I have all of his freebies I think, or most of them.  If you give me the link to his site again (lost my bookmarks), I'll go and look.  I have some time so I can convert them to .zip files.

All if possible, but just The Girl stuff for now.  Also, I saw your other message about the useage and liecencing of the Barons freebies.  Yes that would definately be a good idea to check with him first before actually converting and offering them up.  When I emailed him about it before I think he meant I could go over to a friends house and extract the exec's myself onto a disk.  While I am technically doing that I am keeping in the spirit of what was asked.  If the baron says no to doing things this way I'll understand, but I think he might not mind as he just doesn't want to do the extra work of converting the files because most of his customers are PC users. So let me know when you know something.

Duh' Oh!!!  I'm an idiot who can't read, what can I say.  The freebie is a utility not a model yeah yeah.  The need for the other freebies of Baron Vlad Harkonnen to be converted to zips is still there though and the call for help is still there if anyone feels like helping.

I finally found out who made the hair, solarisonline.  It is actually called "Vampire Hair for M3" and is found right here on Renderosity.  The clue was the name of the texture folder (LunerianFields).  It's the same for all of solarisonline's texture folders.  Thanks for the help guys.

Under the "Window" menu at the top you will see the Hierarchy Editor listed. After selecting the editor drag the hair object over the Head and it should stay on the head during poses. I'm pretty new to Poser and that was a real brain teaser to me too. Figuring out the Material interface was even worse trying to figure out, but I digress.... BorgBoy7

Usually I will get poser files like cr2's and pz2's which have png's and rsr files. So I guess from what starmage said I should be able to just delete all the rsr files since they are just redundant files for PC users. Thanks for the help guys.

As far as I can tell bodypaints and second skins simply put aren't much more than a texture. Personally I do all my textures in Adobe Photoshop CS, other paint programs are out on the market as well such as Coreldraw and PaintshopPro. To do model texturing you need a template for your model, this shows exactly how your model is mapped out so you can fill in all the right places with your own textures. You can find a lot of templates right here in the FreeStuff section under textures or utilities. Hope that helped a little with your question.
