Quote - The hand does look very short in that position. And the wrist is odd.
I think the hand length is fine, mine is about the same proportions and the fingers land in about the same area on the forehead...it's just the wrist that looks wrong.

All the best.

I'm seeing what people have mentioned about the hand. It's the wrist bend, actually. It's off.

Quote - Latexluv,
Don't mind the nitpickers. You render is by far the best one I've seen up till now.
I wasn't commenting on Latexluv's render, just all of them in general. I've noticed the red legs and wondered. It showed a lot in one pose where her knees were bent and up near her upper torso, the difference in the skin texture was very obvious there.

Quote - Question: did she get a sunburn on her legs?
I was wondering the same thing, but was afraid to ask.

It's Magento...don't rush them, pity them.

I mean really!!!
And that, now, cannot be un-seen!

Quote - > Quote - I thought DSON was only required for Poser for Genesis stuff.
As Dawn isn't based on Genesis, then she won't need DSON.
All the best.
Great Uncle LROG
This catches out a lot of people, DSON is the coding language used in DS4.5's files and has little to do with Genesis, basically anything you save in DS4.5 as a DUF/DSF is DSON.
Just to add to the confusion, when Genesis was first released it's files were in the JSON scripting language, which is why DS4.0 content doesn't work with the DSON importer for Poser.
Actually, JSON is not a scripting language. It stands for JavaScript Object Notation. It works in JavaScript, which is the scripting language. JSON is a human readable data interchange specification. In other words, it is a way to describe data that humans can easily understand, and designed to work with JavaScript. I believe that DSON is actually DAZ3D's own twist on JSON, with some probably proprietary features added in. JSON is an open standard.
So, DSON is not DUF, it is rather a way to interchange the data within a DUF file to another software in a standards supported format. That is the reason for the existence of JSON and XML, the interchange of data between disparate applications.

Quote - I think it depends on the clothes whether Crossdresser / Wardrobe Wizard / Fitting Room / Autofit is the best tool to convert something.
As for Dawn: please, is it a file compression issue or is it a bending issue? (See the red circle on her upper body)
I think it's a lack of anti-aliasing in the image. It's a pretty low-resolution image, too.
Or...it could be a skin-tag. :D

Quote - Rigged toes! So there is a single toe group to bend them all at once then a bone for each toe
Toes! Not fingers!

Quote - One reason I have not taken to new (even free) models is having to RE-cloth them all over again..new clothes, shoes, hair, besides texture maps...I just can't afford it after spending thousands of $$ on the entire V and M models through versions 4....
I THINK (but have lost it) there was something here about Dawn being able to wear existing clothes (hair can always be manually refitted) ??
Could someone clarify? A new store would of course need to generate new money, that is a given....so how could Dawn BE cross-compatible and help found a new store?
Confused...
Well, conversion works for things, but something actually modeled for the figure is always a bit more perfect. EvilInnocense has already said he'd be involved, so we can probably expect a conversion module for X-Dresser. I'd bet that PhilC will probably make one for Wardrobe Wizard as well.

Quote - Hi
email did not work!
<"@hivewire3d.com>:
Remote host said: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1) [RCPT_TO]I'd love to beta test-I was part of the V4-WM and clothing fitting utility team. And I'd love to help with the new Dawn!
Thanks
Eric
I've had that problem and finally found out what was going on from my friend. It turns out, I was using Outlook to send emails from my email account on my own domain, but it's going through Comcast's server. To the other end, it looks like a spoofed email origin, so they block it and/or send it back. I know that my domain is not blocked, because I sent the same email, with the same subject line, from my domain directly using my webmail app, and it wasn't blocked or returned.

Thanks folks ;).

Martin is a pretty easy going guy, he might be interested in helping create for the new figure. He has teamed up with several artists to help make their visions into optitex dynamics for DS. It would be a collaboration.

Thanks swordsman. I guess that one's going on the wishlist. I like it ;).

I thought it was said that there was a hair included in the package and thought that it was that hair that was used. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Quote - That's pretty dang sweet! That being the default texture I'm floored. Looks like you pulled off some magic on the shoulders, doesn't seem to be noticeable stretching of the texture map.
You noticed that, huh? That's one of the first things I looked at and thought the same thing.
