hi, welcome to the forum. my way would be like this...(i've not tried it, but should work) reduce the size of the picture (that should become the brush) to your desired size (eg 320x160)..save it in gif-format with transparency on the background. load it into the desired scene and and place it on the original background...you can transform it with freetransform, because it has an own layer then. my english isnt perfect, i just hope you get the point of what i mean :o)

if microsoft would own adobe you would have to press a start button to exit the program. you'd have to "press any key" with no chance that the programm will react. of course you'd only be able to make bmp,jpeg and gif-pictures because IE doesnt shows anything else without plugin :o) then, if you'd like to sell any of your pictures, you have to pay Bill Gates 50% of the price, because he'll never give away any free-licence... so...i guess photoshop is and will be an adobe product for ever..(just hoping) :o)

I like your picture. the texture on the bottle is nice (though not in the original picture :o)) good field of depth and blur in the front. did you drink tequila with an olive? :o) i guess there are coffeebones in the glasses...but don't mind...i like your picture and again, thanx for sharing and joining this little challenge!! have fun! and here's how i did it: as mentioned earlier i've made the bottle with rectangle-splines with rounded edges. i made 4 of them and throwed them into a loft-nurbs.the neck is cylindrical (spelling?) there are two touses, the red one and the glas one the thread is made with a helix, a circle and a sweep-nurb. the glasses are lathe-nurbs. texture on table is painted in photoshop, but i did'nt managed to get it as in the photo. it was the first time i tried to make a tile-texture by myself. the cap is made of two cylinder. a red one and a white one. theres a helix-circle-sweep-nurb, too for the thread. the field of depth is made with the post-render options in cinema and a "handmade"-camera, not the editors camera. i know, this is truly a beginners challenge but i know here are some beginners around, so i started this :o) thanx for having a look into this posting. ah, i guess you mean "brushes"..you can use them in photoshop as you described...i don't know how to "install" your own brushes, but i know that theres a way to do it, because there are brushes downloadeable at the internet on some photoshop sites.

hi, i'm not sure if you mean what i think..but.. photoshop has layers..you can use several layers on top of the background, so you can add your paint without damaging the original picture... hope thats what you mean...if not, sorry for using your thread to give stupid things from me...:o) Delrino

Hmmm...do you have Corel PhotoPaint? The PhotoSpray is implemented there...
