Thanks Stacey, I see that the notifications are being updated as posts are being made, although I still have to pop in to see that. It does appear Renderosity is making attempts to hone the process. It would be great if the notifications were deletable as that would make it just like Deviantart. Again Sort option oldest 1st would be nice.

One thing I will never have which I use to be able to do with ebots: I was able to save the ebots related to my posts so I could thank them later. ;) 

Someone just told me that if I Uncheck Notifications, it will resort back to ebots????? I'm off to try that.

Much easier to do it as a Library light file .lt2,  then add to the .pz3 later!

Replies above address merging lights so they do not delete the present lights that are already there. P7 and above allows for merging sets, and creates unique names. When I worked with Poser4pro I use to manually merge the two lights set via Notepad. giving unique name to the lights from one set to the other. This also must be done for the associated Camera Shadow lights and their parenting as well. I have done as many as 50 combined lights with this process, tedious, but it can be done! I am not sure what release this change came about, but that may be what you need to do with P6?

**I have seldom had success with magnets, and lesbentley's observation is excellent. 3D objects are seldom flexable at the level you desire here. At least not at your bankroll & software capabilities. ;) Time to think about postwork! I would think that the file size would be the same. But the development time would be faster and easier to work with each character individually, and then bring them in for the final scene.

Wow! only 512MB! :[ I am impressed you get this much out of that. I have 1GB, and run into the same problem from time to time. My 1st function is to resize all Texture jpg's down to  1000x1000 pixels at 90% compression. I have found the quickest way is using http://www.irfanview.net/ saving the reduced file as xxxxxxxSmall.jpg, and then using Wordpad's edit-replace on the PZ3. If this fails, then I render the scene in multiple parts, and put it back together with PSP.

This is a classic problem with most 3D artists. We love detail, and shove so much in we hang ourselves! ;)

Is there any easy way to go from my Inbox site mail From User, directly to their Homepage or Gallery? I often get email from Members I have no clue who they are! (This may also be right under my nose too! LOL!)

There seems to be some functions missing that I really miss and they were present in old flow: 
I used to go to another users Homepage and see their Favorite Artists & their Favorite Images.
Will this feature return?

I allowed popups for www.renderosity.co, but do not see anything occuring?
What are we suppose to see when we allow popups?
Is there an option for this within the http pages of Renderosity?

One day I'll get up to date with P6/7

1. I've never placed a mat on the pre-existing ground plane, but rather I bring in a single sided plane from the Prop/Prop Types and mat that.
2. I do not knowing Bryce that well, but I'd say Yes. Bring in an object that has a mat assigned, and LOOK at how it is being done via the Render/Material. There is a Texture Map, a Reflection Map, a Bump Map, and a Transparency Map. Not all objects need all these functions, but it would be best if you looked at various types that do use each of the variable to get a better understanding.
3. Yes. From your previous PZ3, save the objects you would like to bring into your New PZ3. See the '+' sign which will add the object to a folder of you must 1st create. I use !AAA so it stacks on top of all others, and I create a separate folder in each of the Runtime/libraries Folders. 
   ie. a Character, and all parented items can be added to the Runtime/libraries/Character/!AAA 
   ie. a Prop, and all parented items can be added to the Runtime/libraries/Props/!AAA 
   Be sure to select the individual items you want inside the add dialog box.
   You can also save Character Poses, but not Mat Poses. I do that via copying an existing Mat Pose (or extracting the Material section out of a .cr2/.pz2 file) and replacing names via WordPad.
