I for one have never had a problem with the converter works great for me. Why would e-on have it in the program if it messes things up? If you are having a problem with the converter then report it to e-on and let them fix it.

Perhaps try the glow material as well this may give you the desired effect you seek. I have used it a few times for neon signs or light behind a sign in some projects. Also, light gels can dim an otherwise too intense spot light or volumetric light at low levels can achieve a faint light effect. Just some other thoughts for your consideration. Take care.

In Sketch Up you need to make sure both surfaces of your model are textured. Many times only one side of the model receives a texture and when imported into Vue this will cause missing texture or colors that you intended. Right click on your Sketch Up model and choose reverse faces that should do it. Glad to see some SU users here. Take care
Thread: "Why should I buy Vue?" - here's why | Forum: Vue
Most excellent reasoning IMO. Have you ever tried to do a HDRI in Max? It is much easier to accomplish in Vue5 for thousands of dollars less BTW. Max has been selfed for me and Vue5 has become my main artwork tool. Thanks for posting this and regards. :)

Richard from what I see Vue is very stable and what ever bugs there maybe are being worked out. I think the real question is why do you continue to ask such questions here? This would be a good topic for the online user forum at the e-on site if you still have access to it. This is just a thought however for your consideration.

Perhaps this atmosphere is using a high softness setting on your light? Perhaps reduce it to a lower setting. Just an observation however, or something to try.
Thread: Noob thinking of buying VUE 5 to use with Poser 5 | Forum: Vue
I wonder what number you are calling. Did you call the order center or the support line? The order Center I think just takes orders, the support line actually was very helpful. I order on line with e-on myself I didn't use the order center.

I called e-on support and had very good response to all my questions. I left a message and they called me back right away. Many of the features are listed on the web site as well.

It would be very interesting to hear from other Mac Vue users to get a variety of insight to the Mac and Vue experience. Thanks

Many artist have removed galleries over RR BS over the years. They don't pay the moderators so do not exspect good service there. They take 50% of all stores and really do not give a hoot about the users here as long as the money is coming in is how I see it. They allow users to make unlimited ids to haunt or troll other artist with no chance of ever being caught. The ranking system and the top 20 picks are nothing but popularity contest and have nothing at all to do with talent for the most part. I have spoke to several software companies about RR and why they allow RR to use the software name to bring members to the site with no regard or responsibility to trolls that bad mouth the software. Most have told me RR is a joke and only for ametures and anyone that is any good usually will get sick of the way RR does things. I say pull your stores as hurting the pocket book is the only way they will listen and every one on this board should send a complaint email to the president of this site. Very sad to see how this has been handled but not at all surprising. Tim (Tim Choate)
