sure i'd be happy to post some more views of this. agamemmnon- it's not from memory (!)... i have this great book ("The Defenders", 1988) that has almost all of the military planes in the US (and some civilian planes) with pictures, diagrams, and specs. that's pretty much where i model (or at least get the ideas for a model) all my planes from ;). i'd like to clarify a little- i used graphicconverter to make the jpeg- it's named .jpg and the same process works fine with the same software from the PC. It might just be how IE 4.01 runs on my machine, i'm not sure. Gecko

I havn't done too much with cables, but I would think lattices would be best, since you can make them curve... the only other way I can think of is cylinders and tori... Gecko

Neat pic hawkfyr! i'm not sure there's anything else to say about the artifact problem, that's been covered pretty well... as for the camera and sky dots... this has been an annoyance to me- i find that i run out of camera dots real fast, and sometimes when i merge files the dots get lost or carried over. i'm not quite sure why this is (it may be a bug), but i think that the bryce 4.01 update (if it's still up on the MC page...) does a rather good job of fixing this. Gecko PS: btw, option (alt) clicking on a dot erases it- a useful tip for scenes with lots of camera views...

I don't know of many books, but Susan Kitchens has a great book for Bryce 2 and one coming out for Bryce 4. At least that's what I've heard... I don't know her website url though... Gecko

lol- well i certainly have an inferiority complex now... let's see.... a -166Mhz 604e processer (aka POS) -160MB ram (acceptable) -graphics card? what graphics card? -umm.... a disk drive? does that count? -oh yah- two external HDs... total of about 12 gig -umm.... did i already say a disk drive?? so, if anyone wants to buy me a G4... ;)
