I own several antique chests (tansu)It should not be difficult to photograph them and make props. Japanese tansu are mostly rectangular and it should be pretty easy to simply make a texture for a cube. and I have a poser shoji screen somewhere. I am working on an idea graphic novel set in medival japan and can use a lot such stuff myself. A problem I hadwith the RDS mesh form modeler was that when you work on a very small model- such as the poser figs in a zoomed windo, and select a shpere of attractioon at default size it hangs up. Metacreation were unable to reperduce this, and it cleared wup when I got a new video card so maybe it has to do with fact I was using a Diamond Fire Gl 1000. A work arround was to zoom out, select shpere of attraction, make it 0.01 inches and THEN zoom back in. "phil" Hokusai

Actually I do not want to turn of the bending. See where teh gears poke out from under teh shin and elbows? Also look closly you will see they are bent due to twisting and side to side rotation as well as teh bending. What I want is when I bend or twist the shin, I want only the shin to deform, leaving the thigh intact. now if I trun off bending on teh thigh, it will not deform when I bend teh shin, but niether will it deform when I bend the thigh. And if I try the joint parameters, in order to exclude the the thigh from eth shin joint parameters This is complicated so if you do not picture it is its OK, The good news is I managed to get this to work. The bad news is I do not know what I did right. I basically took out any parament in teh CR2 that refered to a child. EG in the lThigh section I took out smoooth_lShin, xrotate_lShin, ect. No thants not it. That woudl just change teh center of rotation. In any event I think I got it licked. It invovles revoeing all parameter which referance teh daughter.

Yes and no. You can replave the poser 4 woman aith a poser 3 wiman easily enough but my lara face morphs will be lost. Thtas OK they were not all that great anyways. the hair and teh clothes are waht reallt took the times, My lara will work expet for teh conformin clothes- and the shorts which require a pants mesh thats in poser 4. But the hair will still work. as will the boots and holster are my own creation but they will not conform to the figuer, You will have to pose each separatly. Sorry "Phil" Hokusai

Sorry iots my fault. I really did not think about the UV map when I made them bit its simple fix. Unfortunatly They have no OBJ file, I thpught it would simplify the instalation process. If you are not up to waiting a week or two for new versions (Finally got some decent web space!!) you can export teh boot seperatly, remap them ands then replace bodyparts with the old boots, I also have a new set of skin tight PVC boots waiting to be posted with a UV map.
