Sounds like the tales from old London Town..When homeowners paid fire insurance and were given a plaque to place on their building so the firefighters would KNOW they had paid their dues..
Very 17th century of them. That's one city I think I'd see about moving from as soon as possible..because we all know how todays' computerised systems are so efficient and accurate.
Plus of course it's an obvious money earner and If I were the voters in that county that's one mayor I'd vote to get out of office. In fact I'd stand against the SOB and promise a return to a sensible and humane firefighting service.
I guess if someone's life were at risk they would do something? I'd damn well hope so.

I don't mean to be horrible.. i love your clouds. and it's only that that ought to be corrected!Â
Tell me how to and I will..

I cannot explain them..it's just a volumetric cloud material in a slab format. To be honest I see so much variation in real clouds I can see why anyone thinks they are odd..Don't forget that people have mistaken odd shaped clouds for UFOs
Here's a link to the Cloud Appreciation Society,Take a look and see the huge variation..

It also pays to make sure you have a decent AV,Anti-spyware and to use webmail with a decent spam filter to check your emails.

I asked because Poser is apparently 15 years old this year..I wondered why more wasn't made of the longevity of Bryce?

I have done some investigating and so far the only time I have any trouble in getting a figure into Bryce 7 from DS3 is when the DS specific Elite textures are applied. Then DS3 has a hissy fit and closes down.
Otherwise I've had few problems..thus far
.I will let you know of any others I encounter.

1. If you send a figure to Bryce7 from DS3 most times it does not have hair or props (jewelry/etc) with it.  If it doesn't bring in everything what real good is it? (I can't paint hair worth a darn!!! LOL)
==============================================================
Yes I am having the same problem... And it is really annoying... There are no tutorials in doing this BTW...
I solved the problem by selecting one by one the non corforming Items ( hair too), and right clicking there is an Unparent Item option. After that I select all in the left side column and send to bryce... It does work...
Now I have to findout how can get my materials looking as in poser cus so far they showup very dull in Bryce ... :-(
 Hope it helps...
There is but only for simple objects.
Flowers go through well.
I also found that somehow animations were involved and that to remove animations from the zeroed figure BEFORE posing or dressing helped.I've also done it by sending the figure through and leaving it there and then going back and highlighting that which did NOTÂ go through and sending it through alone.that worked which is how I got the figure through in my previous screen shot.
However as this still seems to be a bug I think it's one to report in the bug tracker over at Daz and in the forums at Daz.It's more likely to be addressed there if enough people make an issue about it there.

One can also just photograph a few resources such as wooden boxes, fences, tables, painted walls, brickwork and use the Image Texture lab to make your own textures from your photographs.I've found that it helps to have a tile making application(doesn't need to be as expensive as Photoshop) there are free ones....
A bit of bump or even the nice new displacement tool in small increments can make an interesting texture.

Some excellent video tutorials here some of which touch on the DTE and how to use it plus the keypad shortcuts to get into the DTE.
