Hold it! Don't touch those morph dials! Fantastic job! Stop right there. Your picture seems to answer your own question. I think the higher resolution head (it can't be the uglier than P4 body!), is the main reason people take to Vicky. Please let us know if you make this current character available, got to be one of the best yet!

Thanks Remco45, that will help with the texturing, but I also would really would like to alter the geometry to closely match the picture as possible using the morphs, sounds easy, but I would welcome any tips as I can't find any tutorials on this. Thanks again! Josiah
Thread: Make your own hi-res figures in 2 easy steps: | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have done this with the pnurbs plug-in with the eve model awhile back and I still have it. The object is about 4.5 megs in size. And IS very hard on memory usage. A interesting side note, I also converted alot of morph targets to hi res using the same p-nurbs procedure. This will work as long as long as the morph was created for the eve model. The number of vertices and subdivisions created on the morph object will be the same as the eve object and will work fine. So the morph objects are really no problem. However remember that the morph targets are larger and take up additional memory also.
Thread: Need help installing patch | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmm.. my copy of the 8 meg "Poser_4.0.2.118a.zip" patch did not contain a readme file either, I checked very carefully. evidently Metacreations has fixed this.

I used to shop for humanoid meshes and I believe that $100 would be very cheap in comparison to other hi quality meshes on the market. I don't think it just has more polygons, it looks like the mesh has been reconstructed to "bend" in a much more realistic way. I think this will open the doors to creating more realistic work than with any of the current meshes being used. I also don't think the basic shape of the face or body are terribly important since these can be wildly changed with morphs. If she bends like a human, she's worth more than $100 bucks in my book (IMHO of course)!

Thread: How Did My Prop Geometry Become Absorbed Into Cr2 File? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok, thanks Jeff. I see that this can happen to "props" but does not happen to objects defined as seperate "figures", (like the conform curls or Bushi,s RealEyes object, which are actually figures). I think I was confused because it happen to one but not the other.
Thread: Magnet Zones: Is this possible? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Couldn't you parent several magnets to the figure, then assign the magnets effect to the cushion so it would appear that the figure is deforming it as it sits upon it?
