Thanks Cyn!! :-) I'm getting a little better at the thumb..for some reason my brain doesn't retain that information when I go back to Photoshop to resize. That's really interesting Rich! Makes total sense of course. My great-grandpa used to say that there were some days when he went to school that it would be snowing so hard that it would literally be snowing inside the building and the boys couldn't see the girls, just one the other side of the school!! My grandma went to a school like this as well, up until she got into 9th grade. :-) Not likely to see the inside anytime soon, unless my granda or somebody could track down the owner..it's at the edge of someone's fields, and I'll give you three guesses what's probably hidden among the plants somewhere in the middle! There was another one that I wanted to get a shot of, that my great-great grandpa built, but it fell down and they bulldozed everything off and cleaned it up to where it doesn't even look like anything's ever been there now. But, our family did get the bell! But you're right about the MJ..exactly why I didn't try to get any closer than I did as well!! They definitely aren't shy about shooting at people, and, in those mountains, no one would EVER find the body!!! Thanks PeeWee!! That it is..wish I could've gotten closer though.

Yep, lol everyone already knows exactly what I was going to tell you. I use IE for just idle browsing when I'm bored, but if I want to use the net while I'm also using Photoshop or something like that, we have Firefox. Kinda neat to know other people use it too. My husband loves it because he likes to open up like a million pages at once and they're all in convenient little tabs at the top of the one window with Firefox.

And the thumb..the right size this time, I think. :-D

LOL Swenglish, I love it. Hehe. Yeah, when I was in college at the University of Kentucky, I spent so much time studying latin that I started writing half latin and half english...not sure what that would be called ..latglish or something I guess, but my other professors weren't too awfully happy about it! LOL

That's very interesting! I wish you could remember where exactly in Kentucky you went, because that sounds an incredible lot like where my great uncle lives. He talks about freaky stuff happening there all the time...seeing a man in a business suit and a briefcase running back into the woods (I mean, this place is so far back in the sticks that the sun doesn't shine there until summer LOL) and never coming back out...stepping into another "dimension" he says, and seeing a woman in pioneer-type clothing hanging clothes out on the line, where he knows there isn't a house. All kinds of weird things, and that's not even counting some of my great-grandpa's stories, about a man fighting the devil (yep, THE devil). I'm so excited now, I can't wait to get these down! My great-aunt is sending me a video of my great-grandpa telling some of his old stories that I can use to help. I'm considering writing them down exactly like he says them, slang and all, but then I also thought that a lot of people wouldn't be able to understand it...ever read "As I Lay Dying" by Faulkner? Same principle I think. And I'll definitely have to start digging more into my Kentucky history/legends..I'll bet there are all kinds of places!! LOL I get excited easily, can you tell? But seriously, it could be a whole book, scary stories and legends of Kentucky! LOL I must start researching! LOL

Anyway, here's my damage. I tried to edit the other msg that I'd already posted but it wouldn't let me put a pic in. Sooo... This is my damage.. I absolutely LOVE my car, so I did cry when this happened! I had to lock her up when this idiot pulled out in front of me, because I didn't have time to gear her down to stop. Then as I was putting her back into gear and giving that guy a thorough cussing out my open window (his was open too), this retarded Domino's Pizza driver chick just slams into me from behind, full speed (about 40 mph). Needless to say, her car was totalled..my only solace. She didn't have insurance (of course, go figure), so now the damages to my car and my back are in court, being billed to Domino's because they were liable, since she was performing her job at the time of the accident. Anyway, long story short, my father-in-law had her fixed for me, but I'm still completely ticked, and now my back hurts all the time.

Awww, that is SO sad Andreas...I absolutely adore any kind of, and that just makes me want to cry. tearing up And the losing Obi...poor baby kitty... Big Hugs At least your still have your other doggy, right?

Thanks Dialyn! I'd actually considered a few of the things you said after I posted this message last night, so, the first thing I did was go out and buy a journal. I think I may have also figured out where I want to start. My great-grandfather used to tell all these wonderful, spooky stories from when he was a child in the early 1900s... kind of old, western-style stories, except for the fact that we live in Kentucky. I think that's where I want to start... I'm going to call my grandma today and get her to give me as much detail to the stories as she can remember, and hopefully, with what she and I can both recall, I can recount those old stories, that, as far as I know have never been formally written out, and bring a little bit of my great-grandfather back to life. :-) Sound like good place to start??

Or you could call her what Nick and I have taken to calling Nermal... "Little Evil" or "Destructo". But we mean them both endearingly, of course. ;-)

Me and Nick just have the one kitty, Nermal. She's a little over a year old. This is a pic of me and her on the day that we got her. She was so tiny, and blended in so perfectly, that Nick nearly sat on her like 10 times when I'd put her in the desk chair to sleep (still her fav place to sleep cuz it's cushy). And in the winter, she either crawls under the covers and sleeps on our feet, or, if you happen to put your arm out to the side, she curls up under your arm. LOL She's such a spoiled rotten baby. LOL
