Yes, I've dealt with Walmart a few years back. That was when digital camera's were extremely expensive. Like Walgreens or anywhere else for that matter you will get as good a quality CD image as your camera is capable of, and maybe even better than your prints. Whats especially nice is you can take you disk, go to one of those self service Kodak Machines and print the pictures you want.
For film my mother has developed she always has them make a disk for me, in case I want something she has shot (family photos).
As far as prints are concerned, I never saw any difference between them and any one of the "High Quality" shops that charge twice as much. Kodak Paper and Developers, all automated.

Alrighty. :-) Thanks everyone. Looks like it's probably a pretty good option to at least try. I'm not sure what kind of resolution my 35mm is going to provide..it's pretty much a dinosaur (a Fujica), and I really just got it for cheap for the sole purpose of learning more how slr's function than anything else. But I did find some other websites/message boards last night that said most people were thoroughly satisfied with the results when they tried all the way up to 11x14 prints from 35mm film. Hopefully it will work as well for me! :-) Thanks again!!

Does anyone know anything about the quality of images when you get your 35mm film transferred to a photo cd from, say, somewhere like Wal-Mart? I had toyed with the idea, since I've just gotten my first 35mm slr to play with, but I still wanted to be able to upload my images and edit them in PS, and post them to my gallery. Any thoughts?? Thanks! Krista G.
