It is a fantastic product! I highly recommend it. Well worth the money.
I like to morph my own figures and often times find clothing lacking in some, if not all, of the morphs I like to use. I am able to quickly solve that issue with this little utility.

Hello, yadi! Like FrankT, I would strongly recommend you look in to purchasing Victoria 4 and her morphs. She has a wide range of possibilities and is easy to work with. (Feel free to take a look at my gallery to see what I have been able to do with her.) As for skin, hair, etc., you will want to consider looking at the various products in the marketplace here. Having a few of these items will at least give you a better base to work from.

Well, there are morph dials and then there are straight injection morphs. I'm not sure how one would go about making an injection for a morph dial. I'm sure someone else would have a better idea than myself. I usually do straight injection morphs as opposed to creating morph dials. I apologize for my blonde confusion!

You may want to check out the end of the following tutorial, even though it is for a morph made in Hexagon. The same principle applies. See the following link...scroll to the bottom of the page to pick up where the information that you need begins:

I hope this helps. :)

I think I may have misunderstood you. Are you trying to save them so a morph dial appears?

You need to save them into the Pose Library if you want to inject them into a base figure.

It is an excellent render nonetheless (love the lighting), fivecat. And I will agree, there does appear to be what could pass for hair there.
I just don't understand why they felt the need to go so overboard with the bump mapping. It just is not...well...realistic to me, which is what they are supposed to aiming for with these products, isn't it? Of course, if this were a man's face, it might be a different story. ;-P

fivecat, no bad reflection/slight meant towards your excellent render there, but to me, that doesn't look like hairs on her skin at all. It looks more like she could use a really good microdermabrasion session. The skin is way too rough for my taste. I know my own skin doesn't look that rough except maybe on my knees and elbows. I've seen this in just about every render done with an Elite texture. It is one of the reasons why I will not purchase these textures.
Thread: V4 Elite - what is the big deal? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
cspear, to clarify, the Elite Human Surface Shader that comes with the textures is Daz Studio use only. It's one of the reasons I did not purchase the bundle. The other reasons are 1) I sure the heck don't need yet another pose pack and 2) I don't like the textures, especially now after seeing more renders with them. (Is it just me or does anyone else think the extreme bump mapping...or maybe it's the shader...or both...of the faces make them look as if they've had sand paper taken to them to rough them up? I know my own face isn't that rough...thankfully. I want to tell these Elite ladies to go out and buy a good exfoliator or microdermabrasion kit.) I did, howver, buy the morphs. At least those are useful to me.

Grichter, it is only $20 in the market place actually, which is not much more (only $5 I believe) than the upgrade price for the few selections of V4 clothing that Daz is offering for upgrade in its bundle pack. It is much more bang for the buck, hands down. :)

*"Oh and don't even get me started on these "Elite Upgrades". You have to pay to upgrade each piece of clothing you already bought so it can handle three more morphs? Talk about gouging your customers..."
*I agree for the most part. First it was the A4 upgrades, now the Elite ones? Come on. When V4 first came out, so many of the vendors upgraded items such as hair for FREE. That builds a much better rapport with customers, IMO.
BUT, if you own a utility like Dimension3D's Morphing Clothes (here in RMP), there's absolutely no need to purchase these upgrades. :-)

JoePublic stated: "The kind of stretching going on with V4.2 is definitely unacceptable, especially if one claims a professional level of craftmanship for ones wares."
I am totally in agreement with this.
4blueyes stated: *"The problem is not in mesh or uvmapping shortcomings, it's in the public attitude."
*I don't think that blaming the public for making the very valid point that inferior products are coming out (and they are being charged more for them) is a very good marketing/public relations strategy. If they know where the problem is, then it needs to be addressed and that has NOTHING to do with the public's attitude and everything to do with being truly professional. As you can see from other posts, there are solutions that might work to help fix this issue.

"...noone wants to be beaten to death with accusations in bad texturing when the problem is in the mesh and UVmapping."*
*The question then becomes, is something being done to correct the mesh and UVmapping so this sort of thing doesn't happen? It's all tied in together. If one underlying part fails, the rest falls apart. I realize this issue is not necessarily with the vendor making the texture. I am glad vendors are refusing to make more detailed textures until this issue is resolved. That make sense to me. No one should want to put out something that just isn't going to work properly given the underlying issues.
