World of Pain indeed!!! growls I feel a Sithly mood swing coming on... lol Yes Poser IS a memory hog. I had to alt-ctrl-delete a few times cause the pc was slowing down. I had outlook express, Poser 6 and another program running. At that time, Poser was running over 100,000 in memory! YIKES!! I ended up closing everything but poser. And as for save, close then reopen. Tried it. 3 times. Didnt work. exporting to another programs sounds more promising. I have 3dx max, Maya...and working on getting Vue 5 Infinite. Would any of those work for rendering??? Feeling face getting hot... phew! LS

Ehhh... Ok. But how do I go about re-adjusting those three things? I have eh... I guess about 5 lights...er... 2 main lights (white and an orangey gold) and the rest are shadow. Anyway, I turned off the shadows, deleted the Macrocosmos thingy. Texture size...texture size... That doesnt have anything to do with the render settings? I had the puppy set to 1024...but, as you can see, I got that freaking thing 3 times before closing the program. Hmm. Everytime someone answers one of my questions, it sounds like Im listening to my best friend talking in Dutch :p Im a newbie...and Im teaching myself everything...so... ehmm...yeah ahem Gonna have to dig out that 20+mg manual again. In over her head... LS
Thread: Multiple characters? And Alien trouble | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Phew! Getting into Poser is a bigger challenge than Photoshop and Terragen - and maybe even Vue, combined! Or maybe its just that I dont have the complete patience to move every...single...file around to their proper places. But I guess thats what Ill have to do. Again, I say PHEW! I thank you all for your replies. Ill see if moving the files around helps. LS
Thread: Multiple characters? And Alien trouble | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ive messed with the properties of both characters and...well, the Pred character doesnt seem to have the right eh...wheel, for lack of better words. Im using the free Pred character and V3. And the Alien Queen... I zoomed way out to where the "floor" guidlines are seen in the entire window. No Queen, but Poser says its there shrugs The pc works just fine, and I installed all three Queen zips...so... sighs Ill figure it out eventually, cause I'm not exactly getting the answers Im looking for. Thanks. LS

Thread: What | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmm I did a (c: local disk) search for the missing files...and I came up nil for them. I cant even afford the Daz morphs, which stinks cause I discovered I need other missing files sighs That and I dont even know where to look for those missing files if I even have them. All the characters for V3 Ive got are freebies from here as well as the net. It isnt nice when I cant do what I had in mind...and when Poser nor myself cant find the wayward files... Poser freezes growls and I have to alt-ctrl-delete poser closed and start all over again. Blah. Thanks for the help all! LS

Thanks for the help, but erm.. I dont have the V3 morph :-/ And yes, I make sure all clothes are made for V3. I just need to figure out how to get the clothes to stick... ponders problem Hey! I had a hair problem too. And with the clothes - they wouldnt move...well, not completely. They seem to be anchored and its annoying. LS P.S. Does anyone know of a free morph for V3?
