Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.........there was once V2 with four and a V2 with six arms. I don't think it's in freestuff anymore. I have her in my Poser 4 runtime but no clue as to who made her. I have not seen a V3 with such a configuration. I would have downloaded her if I saw it....would be great if you wanted to make Shiva. Sorry, I can't be of more help to yah.

It seems to be for V1/V2 as stated.
Maybe you could try to contact the author?

It would be possible to make a V3 version, though it would require a bit of time in the setup room and I don't think you could redistribute it since it would basically be a hack of the V3 obj file.
First you'd have to export all of V3 to an obj file, then you'd need to export a second object file for the right and left arms, hands, fingers... etc from the original obj file for V3.
You'd need to import both obj files back in, reposition the additional arms to where you wanted them, then use the setup room to add back in V3's original skeleton and add additional bones for the new arms, hands and fingers.
It could be done, but it would take a bit of time and I don't think you could redistribute the end result as the object file.would primarly be V3 with some additional bits hacked in.
Barring that you could also just export the arms, hands and fingers and make a new figure out of that, but again you'd need to do some hacking to get them to conform to the V3 figure in the proper position and move with her when you moved her. Again possible to do, but somewhat time consuming and not something you could redistribute.
Hi Miss Nancy!
Cant have enough friends, sitemail me and ill hand you the file, its pretty small at 182Kb and contains three characters with 4, 6 and 8 arms.
I had to try it out to see if it was working, I loaded the 8 arm figure and it looks pretty cool.
Only the "master" hands have "grasp" and "spread" working, so I guess you have to manually position the fingers on the other 6 hands.
In P7 I get those stray polygons with this figure but they dont show up in the final render so theres no real problem whit it.

o.k., sent friend req. and IM. thx fr offering her. I did one of those kalis back in poser 3, but I faked it with two posettes, so it looked rather awful. some hindu guy sent me an e-mail demanding I remove it (was a nudie pic), so I changed it to "arabian dancing girl". and watch out for those zombies. turn yer back on 'em for just a sec, and they'll be eating yer brains. especially now the holiday season is upon us and they're feeling festive.

I don't remember exactly when it was, but 2 or 3 years ago, I saw this or something like it in the freestuff here at Rend. I'm working on a fantasy image and I really don't want to have 3 or 4 V3's in one scene in the same pose. Does anyone know where I can find it or if someone can make it for me??? That would so rock! ahem I'm old school. Sue me.
IM me or something cause I wanna know :p
Thanks!!!
