Well, I also wanted the same thing. I scanned a picture of strawberries (from a seed catalog) and currently have it imported to use as a material. However actually making the strawberry is difficult. So far, my final render looks like a cherry! )-; MartyLogo Logo & Web Page Designs Inc. http://members.xoom.com/WebPager1/graphics.htmThread: My very first Bryce pic.... | Forum: Bryce

It's very good! I liked it - even though its a little scary . Its a lot better than my first Bryce picture which didn't even include objects!Thread: Has anyone else had this problem? | Forum: Bryce

Like the previous posts have said it has happened to all of us. As we get better and better at creating Bryce images and we add more complicated (or just plain more) objects the rendering time takes longer. In some cases, it has even crashed my computer. I see that you have more RAM than I do but I'm working on increasing my RAM. This same kind of question was brought up on one of the AOL 3D boards and I have seen some people post that with even 200 plus Megs of RAM the rendering time can still be slow! So you are not alone.Thread: Sad news of a dear friend | Forum: Bryce

Just so you know the announcement was also listed on the 3D graphics boards at AOL as well. A lot of people there were familiar with her as well and posted their condolences.Thread: Other Great 3D Terrain Programs | Forum: Bryce

I have a terrain editor called Terragen - which I think kind of stands for Terrain Generator. It is a free download and I got it from hotfiles.com but it's also available on AOL. It is limited in that it does only create Terrains and you can't import objects. But it does make great terrains and once you have played around with it for a while you'll start experimenting with making/creating different ground and land materials.Thread: i'm pretty new | Forum: Community Center

I'm also kind of new here too. I have a web page and graphics design site which includes Bryce. That's what lead me to here. I'm just starting up with 3D and its very addictive. I'm also finding it harder and harder to get online. It must be because of all the new people that are coming onto the Internet. So far I have been experimenting with 3D. I have Bryce and Poser, plus I have the Rhino program. As I experiment more I hope to post more pictures to my gallery here.Thread: Heeelp! How do I save? | Forum: Bryce
At first I tried saving some pictures I made in Bryce but the file would always be 507kb in size. When I tried to open the picture all I would get was a white background. After awhile I figured out that you have to render the picture in Bryce before you save it. Marty188 http://members.xoom.com/marty188/index.htm

I also use Plant Studio to import some of the plant objects that I have made. The only problem is that the plant object imports into Bryce upside down or sideways - which is an easy fix by just rotating the object. MartyLogo http://members.xoom.com/marty188/index.htm

Yes, I just got finished creating my "renderosity" home page (although I have a ways to go) and I'm ready to start adding (or should I say start)my gallery page. So does this mean that the problems and solutions noted above pertain to just starting my gallery page too? Marty http://members.xoom.com/WebPager1/graphics.htm
