Thread: Looks Like M3s had the Chop!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh... hmmm.... I thought it had something to do with Michael 3's happy-parts. Ah well.... anybody know what the specs are on those yet? Are they better, worse? Does the texture map still blur at close range? Does anyone know what "happy-parts" are?

I hate when a discussion (especially about Michael) gets deleted before I have a chance to read it!!!!

All I have to say is it's nice to see Curious Labs is still out there. Kinda scary to think a program with so much potential will just vanish!!

Seems to me like only the Platinum Club members are going to be getting first pick at Mike 3, as well as the best sales. Although, I am not 100% sure, this is just what I've deduced from observation of the various discussions on M3. If anybody knows different, please let me know!

I certainly hope what you mentioned about Platinum Club members getting first crack at Michael isn't true. I mean, not everyone wishes to pay those prices to buy a few items every so many months. I know it would be a good way for DAZ to get people to join, but I just don't see how that would be fair to their customers who aren't willing to be "forced" into joining the Platinum Club.

Hmm.. isn't Mesh_Magic the one who posted a few weeks back that DAZ was going to build Vicki and Mike 3 models for the Poser 5 face room? Ha.. talk about B.S.

I didn't post this to knock a merchant or complain about high prices. I feel an artist has the right to charge whatever they want for their merchandise. But, the truth of it all is that I am not made of money, so this is the plan I am going to try to follow through on. My main point was, with all the expensive stuff out there at 25 bucks and over, I've found equally good stuff for free! And as I said, if I were to find an item of such quality that I knew it was exceptional, I'd pay for it. Take Mike 3 for example, I know when he comes out it's going to total out much more than ten bucks, but I really need it, and I will buy it. I just think that maybe there's too much of the same thing out there, and some people sell it at a bargain and some don't.

Thread: A warning...once again on CD storage | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
How ironic is it that a day after I just took inventory of all my Poser crap and backed it up onto a bunch of CDs a posting like this comes a long. I've never had a problem with an old "closed" cd becoming corrupted, but I've had it happen a million times with cd's that are left open and then written to later. I always have this fear that one day I am going to come home and all my poser items and free stuff I have downloaded from various sites will be history. I actually thought I was diminishing this from ever happening, but now I'm not so sure. BLAH!!!

I'd just like to say I agree whole-heartedly with Wolf359. I'm really not interested in the cross-gender anomalies either!

mit123: The swastika symbol is a symbol of the "wheel of life".. of the constant cycles that never end. I believe it did, also serve a purpose as a sun symbol at some given time. It was used by the greeks, and the Hindus, as you mentioned. The fact is, it wasn't until the Nazi regime adopted it, tilted it slightly, and made it their emblem that it got it's bad reputation. Before that, it was actually something positive! Ironically, the cross, before Christians adopted it, almost represented the same thing. Well, that and an ancient equivalent to the electric chair. I mean, it was the device used to kill people.
