Quote - I don't believe much will change. Can you picture what marvel could do to the "Princess Collections" :P
Yeah. I don't expect things to change much either. Quite honestly, movies like Spiderman and Ironman are very Disney like allready. Marvel has been moving into that direction for quite some time.

*I've had problems, but they were due to a major conflict between my firewall and Poser 8. Once that was sorted out, P8 ran well, very well. Except for the library, it's still giving me problems, but I've just switched it off and use an external one, eXtended Library, that one works great. *
I'm having lot's of problems with my firewall and other programs. Out of curiosity, what whoud be a good firewall/antivirus program that doesn't mess with Poser?

Did I understand correctly that your minimum shading rate is 0? That's really low. Try increasing it to say 0.2 or 0.15. Also lower pixel samples to 5 and then increase it later.

Thread: Release the FREAK 4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - > Quote - Either he inhuman, or he's modelled after Brock Lesnar. (How funny that one of their very first characters for M4 is named "Brock," although in truth one or two of the base M4 images look more like Lesnar than the namesake character.)
Pshaw. Brock Lesnar is nothing. I thought the Freak was inhuman, but I did some looking around out of curiosity and I found some amazing actual humans that make the Freak look like a girl.
This is one of them. This is an actual human.
This man has the physique of a modern comicbook superhero. Massive upper torso but not so massive lower torso. I can't tell but I am guessing this is not photoshopped. There was a documentary (I didn't catch it) about guys trying to look like and have the bodies of comic book superheroes.
This guy looks like the marvel character " Luke Cage" come alive (I'm such a nerd for knowing that name ;P ). He even wears a hat like the comic book character.

I can't find The "NearMe" figure at Content Paradise. I can find all these add on packs, but not the figure itself. What's going on? Is NearMe being discontinued or updated? Or is it just me sucking at finding things in the new CP web page?
Also I am having trouble logging in at CP.

Finland!
...No wait...This place sucks actually.
There's lots of things to see in Italy, Sweden is great during the spring time. Estonia is nice. Spain is great (Nice people there). Personally I want to travel to Greece one day and see the remains of Plato's academy (obviously now is not a good time to travel there).

It's not the fault of Jen X. She's a pretty good moderator actually. This censorship is something that goes on in the entire world these days: Corporations are turning people into consumer-slaves and consumers aren't supposed to complain. Consumers aren't supposed to think.Consumers are supposed to consume.
. Renderosity is a lot more free than we realize. I mean we can actually have our Ot-threads and political discussions here without the goon squad kicking in the door. We can exchange ideas and thoughts freely here. Rendo is a lot better than we think. I mean, I absolutely hate corporations with every fiber of my being and even I have to admit Renderosity more humane than "Nokia". .....And I don't even work here and probably never will ;)

Sorry to hear that Conniekat8. But remember, you gave Tigger a good life and took good care of her. Im sure Tigger had a happy life thanks largely to you. That is so much more than what some people do to animals. If Tigger could speak I am sure she'd thank you for all the things you've given her.

*I hear ya on mistreating of animals. It turns my stomach to see people do it. Gosh, some days when I'm feeling extra sensiotive, I can't even eat meat :-. When I was a teenager, I got into a major fist fight with the neighborhood boys, about a year or two older then me, because I saw them throwing rocks at a kitty. I just saw RED and jumped on them! swinging. I think I was around 12. *
I agree. I am thinking of becomming a vegetarian as well. I have learned that there are people in my country, that actually lob explosives into snakes nests and then laugh about it, as the snakes blow up. We have had pigs and other farm animals, living in horriffic and stressfull conditions, biting each other and going mad. Some lunatics have actually engaged in breeding dogs to fight each other, just like the ancient gladiators of Rome. Just for entertainment.
And here I was thinking, that we were a civilized society and this is what I find out: People abusing innocent animals for their own hedonistic pleasures. Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread any more than I have already.
I'm glad to hear Tigger is recieving proper care and I am glad to hear there are still lots of people out there who care about the well being of animals.

*Most of my worrying is whether I'm giving her care she needs to recover, or if I'm doing something wrong. Like right now, her nose is plugged up and crusted up from puking, and she's breating through her mouth. I have no idea how to clean it up and make her more comfortable. I tried warm washcloth, and some water in her mouth, and it didn't help much. The tube down her throat makes it pretty uncomfortable to swallow and clean herself... *
Well you are giving care for her, that's whats important. So you are not at fault. Animals like people sometimes get sick. It's no ones fault.
I mean we have had these horrible animal rights violations in Finland during the past year, so much to my horror, I have learned that there are a lot of people out there who treat animals like they are just pieces of meat. It's pretty horrific IMO. Anyway, the vet will eventually figure out what's wrong with Tigger. Sometimes it just takes some time to diagnose the disease.

You have loved Tigger and you have given a good life for her, Conniekat8. That is what is important, I think. Not that many pets have as good life as Tigger has. So perhaps, as painfull at is may be, Tiggers life might be nearing the end, but she has had a good life, and thats whats improtant. 11 and more years is a lot for a cat. It is not the years but the mileage. It seems to me that you have cared for the well being of Tigger very much indeed and that is what is important. She has had a good life thanks largely to you.

Thread: OT: IDF Operations in Gaza | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Personally I hate war period been there done that and seen many brothers I served with not come home. IF we are such the super intelligent race we pat ourselves on the back for being you'd think by now after all this time on this rock we'd be past such foolishness. Or is our superior human intellect only good for creating video games, better cell phones, computers, better bombs, faster cars and faster ways to die? Each time we advance in something good we take 3 steps back.
Funny when governments decide to go to war it's never the elected officials that loose or have fear of loss it's always the innocent that looses. Judging by what I have read in regards to cease fire accords neither Hamas nor the government of Israel really cares who gets caught in the middle.
David, I can only hope you and yours stay safe.
I agree 100% with what you said. Thank you for speaking the truth.

Quote - These missiles are now reaching Ashkelon. Soon they'll be able to reach my home in Bat-Yam. When you have explosive warheads flying through your living room, I do believe that one has the right to get a wee bit upset.

As a fellow humanbeing, I sincerely hope that you and your family will be safe dphoadley. I cannot imagine the horrors of living my life every day, under a threat of a rocket attack. As a humanbeing how ever, I am also very anguished, to see so many palestinians loose their lives. Every human death to me, is a tragedy. The pacifist in me doubts, that violence is the answer for a violent situation. This is a horrible tragedy that will breed more violence and terrorism in the future, I fear. I hope that I am wrong. I honestly do.
