I ALWAYS open P3dO Explorer whenever I open Poser - it's the only way to navigate through the tons of files it takes to setup a scene in Poser. I was sincerely hoping that Curious Labs was going to offer to buy your utility and incorporate it into Poser 5. Sorry to hear they have chosen to ignore you. I checked out their Utilities list and nothing against the five they've got listed but I don't use a one of them. Thanks for providing an essential utility for Poser. You've made our rendering days much more productive!

Occasionally if the stretching isn't too bad and you want to avoid having to change the UV templates you can reverse the stretching in your texture. In other words, you can pre-shrink that portion of the texture so that when it stretches it will approximate the correct proportions. It doesn't like that will do you much good here since the stretching is pretty severe and the jewel texture is fairly detailed.

If I had not already been a Poser user the present EULA/Security/registration procedures would have kept me from buying the software. I still use Raydream 5.0.2. I followed that software from Raydream, Fractal to Metacreations. Now the company no longer exists and Raydream is unsupported so I can no longer install it fully on my latest computer. I hope Curious Labs lasts forever but I absolutely HATE that their attitude seems to be if we die to heck with you. If they go out of business I will only be able to use the software I've paid good money for until my first hard drive glitch or upgrade. This is unacceptable to me.

Man, you got to wonder how strange a dude can be if LEMURTEK is saying he "marches to the beat of a different drummer". (Just kidding, Lemurtek.) I've looked at Mortier's books in the bookstore on many occasions and always came to the conclusion that it was much less useful than the Poser manuals. Poser manuals are usually pretty good but the Community is always advancing so fast - it would be really nice to have a "Susan Kitchens" to help compile the knowledge of the Community Braintrust into a good book. With lots of sample files. And freebies.

I'm with you TalmidBen. I don't download things that are non-commercial use only because I have enough trouble just finding all the files I have when I need one (even the one's installed) without trying to research each one's history and keeping a separate database of who made what, what is and is not allowed with every individual file. My freestuff is just free - I would only get perturbed if I found someone else giving or selling my stuff.

I had the same problem Friday and I've ordered many things from DAZ in the past. I called the 800 number and they were able to process it right away over the phone.
