Thank god I thought this site had turned into crap. Good to hear that things are improving. I made a suggestion for the MarketPlace the other day and the very next day it was implemented. Now that's progress!

Service Pack 3 has some known issues that weren't resolved until SP4 came out. If I were you I would skip SP3 and apply SP4 outright.

If that's Earth at night then the darkside shouldn't have clouds visible. Also the lighted side of the globe should show bluish tint from the atmosphere and oceans. And yes I agree with Incarnadine tone down the specularity.

I've been a member here for years and every time there's a major schema change everyone gets in an uproar. I think people will settle as things are finally set in place. Remember that it says "initial" changes up top not final changes. Bear with them!

Well Reloaded is only half a movie as Revolution is the back half. They had to make it that way as that's how the story was written before Matrix 1 was even filmed. Speaking of Revolution did you stay till the end of the credits to see the Matrix Revolution trailer? It was only 30 seconds but showed some pretty cool stuff.

Well if you're using Photoshop just use the ImageReady that installs with it. ImageReady is designed to reduce image sizes for use on the web for fast downloads. You can reduce and tweak till your heart is content. If you can't reach the maximum's listed by tjohn then you need to lose some detail from the thumb as the main pic itself will carry the detail.

Keep in mind that even with my basic forumla that I use to make glows you'll still have to tweak the material to get the effect you're after. I try not to use post effects to achieve my glows but sometime a little Photoshop blur helps out with the effect. Anyways have fun!

Well Warblade you've been helped by one of the best persons here at Renderosity concerning Star Wars scenes. Kromekat and Curio both created a Star Wars series in Bryce that to this day I love to peruse through. If by chance you need the material to make glows let me know as I may have it on an archive somewhere otherwise follow Kromekat's advice as you get great results. keep it up!

Yeah rendering in layers resolves a lot of hardware limitation issues. Are all those soldiers skeletons? I can barely see the details. Anyways good work!

ILM is doing the CG. They said the trailer was to debut prior to The Two Towers movie but it was not played at all. The Two Towers though rocked!
