What an incredibly talented individual. My favourites were the figures from the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant series of books, probably because it is some of the best fantasy I have ever read and it was great to see some of the characters brought to life.

Complete has been updated too, preferences now stick and objects display properly (instead of just boxes) in the viewports. Got to take my baseball cap off to them, that was a very quick piece of damage limitation

Same problems with Complete but I prefer the shortcomings of this current beta to those of the last (layers problem) - maybe, just maybe, they will get a usable version out next (hahaha)

Looks like e-on have joined the Dharma initiative and relocated to the island on LOST

Yeah, its not present in Complete, only in Infinite.
They have finally accepted that it is a bug in the 64 bit version of Complete now and say it will be corrected in the next release.

I however seem to be going around in circles, Lee tells me its under viewport display options and I keep saying its not there in 64 bit Complete. I've added a screen grab to my ticket but as to whether it will now even be looked at I am not so sure.

Question is, will that be when this beta release becomes gold or are we talking about a whole new bout of development?

Just got this from Lee...
"Thanks for the report - I'm forwarding to our development group"
So at least its getting to where it needs to go
Thread: Vue 7 more stable than Vue 6? | Forum: Vue
I've found the 64 bit version of Vue 7 Complete to be very stable, even with some huge scenes. I use an ATI Radeon 3850 graphics card and even though Vue informs me that it does not support some of the advanced features (and offers to turn them off - how thoughtful) - I just ignore it, select everything on max and it works perfectly.

A totally disgusting title and a prime candidate for moderation (I hope)
I am far from being a C3D fanboy but download speeds have never been a problem for me and neither has their filing system.
Thread: How to render an alpha channel in Vue 7 Complete? | Forum: Vue
No it isn't, you just have to use a different method. Just hide the ground or any other objects except the reeds from rendering and save the rendered image plus a separate alpha and just lift the reeds out in Photoshop. I don't think a minor change in work flow is reason to call the software "incomplete". While I am far from being an e-on fanboy, I do find "Complete" to be a very useful piece of software that suits my needs very well.
