The prop gets the deformations of the joint parameters of the parent part. To match te rotations, position, etc, you need a smart prop. That universal business doesn't sound very useful. Rorschach

When you parent a prop to a body part, in the window for selecting the part, there's a switch to allow "inherit bends of parent". For some clothing props it's a good solution (for instance, a bra), although most of the times a clothing character is required. Where's that universal bending switch? Rorschach

I meant a prop parented to the hip with the "bend" button on. I spawned it from the selcted group, and the scaled it a little bigger. Having almost the same geometry it bends quite fine. Not flawless, but a temporary solution after all. Rorschach

That makes sense, bloodsong, in a computer ilogic way. Anyway I spawned a bending prop, not the perfect solution. I'll try what you say. Thank you both for the advice. Rorschach
Thread: Custom Poser Figure Icons | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just render it, select "paste picture onto backgroud", move the camera so the actual figure is not seen, only the bacground pic, and save it to the library. If you mean the background of the borg queen icon, I've heard it's related to the number of colors on display on the Windows configuration, although I've also heard that a high color number slow down the system. Hope this helps. Rorschach

His server, Teleline, is a spanish one. If you have warned Zygote, they should know it by now, but just in case: Metacreations' distribution company on Spain is Atlantic Devices (atlantic@lander.es). I'll let them know about this, as they should be the first to make a legal action, I guess, at least regarding Zygote's original meshes, wich at the moment of this writing are still on the page. At the lower part of the page there is a "not for sale" text. Was it there before?. Regarding textures created for free he's using, maybe you should contact Teleline about the piracy they're hosting. As I live on the Canary Islands and not in Madrid, there's not much more than I can do. BTW, what the hell means "blindfold a conversion service"? Rorschach

Oliver, my Poser doesn't create any obj file on the New Figures folder (P4 on PC), but I can load the cr2 with the CR2Editor and save it as an obj. The trouble then is to make the cr2 file to point at that textured geometry instead of the one it contains. If you open the cr2 you'll see that instead of the usual adress of the obj file there is a vertex by vertex description of the mesh. Should I erase that and put the obj adress there? Sorry, but I'm not adept on cr2 editing. Rorschach

I used to play "Werewolf", that's 5 forms to poserize per character, and 3 of them fully furry, to make things worse, quite a headache. Would change to Vampire or Mage, but that means becoming a traitor to Gaia, so... About the forearms, they just need some more muscle on the zone near the elbows, so maybe a little taper could do. Nerd, your clothing gets more and more impractical...please, please keep going that way. Dreamspinner, Plissken? Please, do it! I can provide the modified guns from "Escape from NY". The ones from LA, I should get some decent pics of them. Rorschach

It looks awesome! Wonderful work, the chainmail zones are a perfect solution for allowing bending. But I still think the hip piece should be separated in three parts to allow more movement. And for the same reason the chest piece should be bigger, have more room between it and the body, mainly for collar movements. Please finish this and post it, it's a great work. Rorschach

Is it very complex? Send me a pic or a sketch of what you want and I'll answer you about what can I do. rorschach@jet.es

There are two people in love with her: count me in. She will be much better with veins bump map. The shape and form is great, save for a silicone looking breasts (but unless you plan to make her fight nude celtic style, don't worry about that). Maybe her forearms should have more muscle? Rorschach.
Thread: Conforming Armor Comments | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The looks depend on what kind of armor you want to do. If its a medieval realistic one no part should bend. The pieces should have open areas to allow movement (the back of the knees, the hip/thights joint, etc) that show the chainmail underneath. I recall medieval armors had movile pieces on the front, back and sides of the hip and bigger kneepads. Of course, if it's a sci-fi armor, it can be as flexible as you want. So far it looks very good. Rorschach
