I think there's settings in Photoshop to make your own brushes if you have an image on its own layer with a transparent background. I'd look in Photoshop to tell you where it is but I have to leave for work right now. :(

I use Windows XP and downloaded it through a browser called Mozilla (which I use in conjunction with Internet Explorer) if that helps. Mozilla is freeware and has an integrated pop-up blocker. It's similar in feel to Netscape, but it's totally de-junkified.
