Larger noses can be nice. It depends of the shape profile of a persons face. Sometimes a larger nose can compliment the right face while smaller noses are just fine for the right face.
Here is a fine example of a larger nose complimenting a nice face.

Million dollar homes out here are no big deal. Here in the inland empire there are homes built in the 70s 4 bedroom, 2 bath are worth $500,000 so million dollar homes are no big deal. Everything is expensive out here so the costs of property damage are going to be huge all across the board.
I think we need some rain real soon here. :(

Just remember to drink a lot of water. Water has been proven to keep the lungs clean so it helps a lot. Were getting some ash fall were i am at right now and the air smells of smoke. I am just north of San Diego but i feel real bad for everyone near those fires and i hope we get a lot of rain soon.

I don't get it. How did you import Vue Materials?
I thought Carrara did not read Vue Material files or am i missing something here?

Only problem is i wish the gosh darn program would not crash or render ultra slow when using displacement. :( But those mats look mighty nice.

Yup, i have even dived deep into experimenting with the function editor. No worries though. :)

I did turn up turn up the Quality Boost and Scattering Anisotropy as well. To be honest it's all how the code was written and there is nothing that can make those clouds look any more real then what Vue can do already. The atmosphere and volumetric cloud code just has to be re-written if better results are needed so it looks like this is what we get for now. I would show off my results but they are not worth it as we all should already know Vue's limits by now. All i have to say is a voxel-based particle system is the way to go but i fear the render times will be insane knowing that i can not even use displacement in Vue without killing the program. Ah well, can't say i never tried. :)

Not bad but Vue still has that well known soft edges look and lack of small scale detail. The idea is a complex billowy look but everything i had done so far it still looks like fuffy blurred marshmellowy look just like what is above. No offense. :) I get the same results. It's to bad displacement materials can not be added to the clouds, this may be the solution but displacement in Vue is lame. To slow and it needs a ton of memory which is why Vue should use virtual hard drive memory. :(
Here the small scale bumping of a real cloud has that well known billowy effect.

I had not thought to increase the scattering anisotrophy. I will see how that looks. :)
As for the rest of the suggestions, i will have a go at these but still i have yet to see anyone doing clouds remotely like what Derrin1 was thinking, linked to and also something like the photo i posted. I tend to think that vue is just not capable of such high detail yet. The developers only went so far with clouds.

It seems to me that Vue needs Voxel based 3D-Surfaces but what about Vues' Hyper-Textures? Can one not create fire, smoke and other thick volumetric effects with this feature alone.
Perhaps Vue in a future version needs something like this.

Quote - If so, easily done, when saving your scene or material, tick the "incorporate texture map" box in the saving dialog box.
Yes, this is exactly what i needed for my mats. Thank You much. :)
Doh. Yeah, not texture baking. I was thinking there was something not right about they way i was thinking about this.

Also i was considering placing/painting eco rocks everywhere but Vue has not so good looking rocks and i wish there was a nice rock editor inside Vue. Something for Vue 7 perhaps to have implimented so hopefully with enough demand for something like this maybie e-on will have this if the demand is high enough. I was thinking about compiling a wish list for Vue 7 in the next several months.

This does help greatly. Hmmm... i was thinking about out cropping. It is very much worth a go but i will have a try at all of your options. I am so used to Terragen 2 so it is taking a lot of getting used to Vue's work flow but thus far it is still fun even though at times frustrating.
The Sick Rock looks very nice.
Your results look very promising. :)
Thank You much.
