Nope, Morph Mirror doesn't do the trick, either. Mesh explodes like before, I tried reversing the winding order with UVM, no changes. Argh...
Thread: Symmetrical/mirrored morph targets - help, anyone? | Forum: Poser Technical
Thanks for the Morph Mirror suggestion, I'll try that. Riptide unfortunately didn't fix the problem... Has anyone experience with this Poser Tool Box by PhilC? It says it has mirroring capability, too.

Thread: Queer preview in vertex modeler - HEEEELP!!! | Forum: Carrara
Thanks everyone ! I think falconperigot, you've got it right basically, because I found out now that if I take the model into the vertex room and then rescale it REEEEAAAALLY large, like by 2000% - bingo, everything works just fine. It's still strange though because not only can Carrara 2 handle the same model without any problems, but obviously the same thing occurs with ALL very small models (like Poser for example)... So it seems all about too high magnification indeed. Oh, and smoothing was not turned on, and switching to OpenGL doesn't change a thing. I've mailed to Eovia now, sent them the picture, if they know what to make of it, I'll let you know if you're interested.
