I have just experimented with making the M3 and Clothing parts invisible, which has worked for me 99% of the time apart from the only problem being the hand, which now has a gap where the shirt or forearm should be, so out of all of your suggestions Acadia, what do you think would be the best solution to fix this?

Ok thanks for all of the advice and help. The hair room really does sound like the only possibility to achieve what i really want. and i think i will purchase Jolie Fille hair, mainly as the skull cap is exactly what i want to grow the hair from.
Although it would not look as good one way i could animate the hair using the Jollie Fille hair would be to set a key frame at the start of an animation with the hair in a certain pose and then at the end of the animation i could add one of the Jollie Fille's hair morphs, so that will animate the hair from point A to B and could look ok if done right.
In terms of the sculp mesh i cannot see anyone having a problem with what i am doing, as i am not trying to make any money from this. It is for my own personal use, but if things were to go further then i would definetly ask permission.

Thank you everyone for replying so fast with a lot of useful information.
I guess my best bet will be to either create hair from scratch in the dynamic hair room or purchuse some products that you have recommended here, already set up as dynamic hair.
By the way all of the hair you linked me to seems to be v3 hair models do you know of any v4 dynamic hair models?
What would happen if i applied a windforce effect to the polygon hair?
cheers

Thread: Michael 3 and Victoria 4 not blinking | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Noel,
Thanks for replying that clears up any queries i have. Do you have any estimation at this current time when these problems will be solved?
What morphs do you need for M3 and V4 to get one eye to blink? i thought i may aswell try this just to get a feel for the blinking.
cheers

Kalon thanks for the advice, but i think this thread title should be fine.
Hey Little_dragon you seem like a guy who knows what he is talking about, so hopefully i can find all of the answers to my problems with you.
Yes i did download the Talk Designer expansion kit. I used both the v4 and m3 viseme maps.
So as far as you know it is impossible to get Michael 3 to blink simultaniously in Talk Designer? one eye at a time would look unnatural, so that is no good for me. Would my only option be to use Mimic, unless its possible to add such a dial you talk of?
As i own victoria 4.0 base and do not want to purchase 4.1 i am happy to use your phonemes, especially if you say that they produce the same results. I also encounter this absence of blinking with my V4 model, you said this is expected with M3, but any ideas why this is also happening with me V4 model?
Lastly is it not possible to control the emotions of V4 and M3 in Talk Designer without custom face morps, that don't currently exist for these models?
cheers for the help i hope i can narrow down these answers soon, so i know where i stand. Looks like Mimic is the best option atm.

Thread: Importing Poser animations into 3D Studio Max | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the input. I guess that has made up my mind now, it really is the only outlet. I was 95% sure before, because i thought someone may enlighten me, but thats not the case. I appreciate the other suggestions, but its more work out of my way. I need the most simplistic approach.
Yeah that 64 bit issue is very annoying. I guess the ideal situation would be to have two versions of Max. One 32 bit and one 64 bit, so you could import the animation file into the 32 bit save the scene and then open it in 64 bit.
anyway i will leave this thread open just encase someone does reply with some different news, otherwise i don't need anyone else to drop a line.

So there really is no other method for importing the models other than Bodystudio?
Thats what i really need the answer to at the moment, i think i already know the answer, but it would be nice to get that concrete. Just to put my mind at ease.
There is always someone lurking in the shadows that knows something most of us don't, at least i am hoping.

Thanks for replying so soon. Funny enough before i read this message i was looking at the Michael head and body morphs, just to clarify is this the correct one with the body morphs also?
