Thread: The Soldier - Ultra low polygon original figure | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Quote - That said, if you do indeed have plans to make a variety of "barbarian" figures, will you consider creating variations on figure types (i.e. Viking A, Viking B, Viking C)?
Great idea; from the group pict above, though, we see at least one character without the helmet. I think it would be possible to have a single Viking with a few different texture maps, helmets, shields and weapons to make up the crowds. I'm very, very eager to see some aliens. This idea has been a long time in coming, but once an alien is out, I'll definately grab all of the low-poly packages. Well done!

Thread: Now available at Renderosity - Comic Book Creator - Marvel Heroes Edition!! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Quote - This version of Comic Book Creator has the Marvel content included. If you use the Marvel content it can only be for non-commercial usage.
However, The Comic Book Creator program can be used to create your own commercial comics with as long as you dont use the included Marvel content.
It sounds like it might be useful as a "break-in" tool; if using the included content allows you to post non-commercial comics on your site, for example, would you then be able to include your own artwork (eg. besides a few canned Spider-Man shots, you include Spider-Man shots that were completely yours)? In the answer's "yes", then one could publish a regular, non-commercial, online comic strip using Marvel's characters with Marvel's permission (even if it were, say, just using a canned Spidey shot as part of a title or opening frame). Is there a restriction on using the package in that way, one or two clip art shots with the rest original artwork?

Thread: Aiko joins the AHEV Squad! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Quote - If it helps out, as long as you make his body invisable, it'll fit hiro. just my two cents.
Right you are! Because of the female stance (and the fact I never looked closely enough at the M3 and V3 versions) I assumed there was a difference between the male and female versions, but Hiro looks fine (though I'd love a second, slighly different version for Hiro as well). Thanks for the tip! -- Walt Sterdan
Thread: Aiko joins the AHEV Squad! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Quote - That's right, the HEV Suit has been converted for Aiko 3. It includes the Open Faced Helmet and the same features as the M3 and V3. The Expansion set textures work with this one as well.
On sale now!
Okay, I've been holding back, but you got me with this one! I'll grab it later today... any chance of a matching Hiro version? I love all of the SciFi stuff you did for PoserStyle, and I'd gladly pay for matching Hiro and Aiko versions... as well as Hiro and Aiko versions of some of the M3/V3/SP Sci Fi stuff on your site. I admit, though, that having Hiro versions would accellerate my Aiko purchases. ;-) -- Walt Sterdan
Thread: LITTLE VILLAINS: now available! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Quote - "Little Villains," a texture set for Rufus, is now available at Renderosity and Poser Pros!
Don't forget to check out "Little Heroes" as well :)
Got 'em both, great stuff, hoping to see something for Daisy, if not the bunny. Any plans? -- Walt Sterdan
Thread: "Little Heroes" for Rufus now available in the Renderosity Marketplace | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Quote - I'll have to see about covering some of the other figures -- it would really depend on how well these ones and the Villain follow-up do. I haven't looked at the UV mapping of the other two I have (Daisy & Quinn) to see how much trouble converting the textures would be.
Well, I bought it, so I'm doin' my part. ;-) They look really good; I'd kill to have actual mouth morphs for the plushies, as the characters are just perfect for some little kid projects I've got on the back burner. Lookin' forward to see how this all turns out... good luck! -- Walt Sterdan
