I'm in a similar situation as the original post. I've used PSP for years and recently decided to try to switch over to PS. It's been an incredibly difficult thing to do. I spend literally hours trying to learn how to do something in PS that I could do in 2 or 3 minutes in PSP. Worse, I'm discovering many of the features of PS are actually downgrades from their equivalents in PSP, although there are also a lot of things PS will do that PSP can't, which is why I want to switch. One of the most difficult things is that I can't figure out how to paste data from the clipboard into PS as a new image. If you use Paste it just pastes it into the current image as a new layer. In PSP you go Edit>Paste>Paste As New Image. Can anyone tell me what the PS way of doing the same thing would be?
