There are still a few reasons to go, I am expecting rigging (maybe weightmaps) to be one of the reasons to upgrade. How many poser users are scared to go into the joint editor as simple as it is now? When poser adds weight maps or something of the like, how many users are going to be willing to go back to the library and start rerigging all the products they have? If poser gets too complicated how many people will drop it for Daz Studio bare version for simplicity?

Looks like a single Vertex or 2 vertices poly, just delete that poly it isn't needed. Depending on your modeller you should be able to lasso just that single line.

Maybe this will work, I don't have that character so not sure. Apply a magnet to the rfoot of the boot. Under properties add element to deform and select and rtoe and rshin of the boot . Grab the mag zone and enlarge it till it is about 1/2 way up the shin of the boot. Then you select the magnet and ytran it down till it lines up. After that do the same for left boot. That way the boot should conform to the default character. Leave the magnets on the boots (instead of spawning morph targets) so you can adjust later if they are off once posed.

To gain hype it is best to lead with the weakest point and end on the strongest. Watch the movie Seven backwards and you will get the idea why its good to build things up to a climax.
Just because the forums have alot of complaining about the content doesn't mean much. Most people that will enjoy the content won't post at all. I happen to like ef figures since they are more diverse in style. V3 is great as well, but it is a single figure to fit all styles. That leads to an inflated polycount so it can morph from one thing to another. It is also the reason I don't need another like it.
Thread: Saving poses | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Dan select the body part you wish to remain in place (turn ik off), click object then lock actor. I would suggest to just get the pose how you like it and save it to the libary instead of text editing the pz2. the x and z trans on the hip move the figure forward and back, but most poses tilt the hip so if you 0 the y tran (make it face default camera) you will damage the pose and have to adjust it alot anyway.

Turn ik off and zero the hip x and z trans. The Y trans dial spins the character, so if the hip is has values other than 0 for bend twist or side to side you have to leave that trans alone or it will mess the pose up.

I find it funny people don't like them trying to hype the product over time, does the preorder get more expensive if you wait until they release all the information?

How does ef fail to produce with poser 7? When using it did you have problems with it already? How can anyone tell if something fails to produce without using it? Poser 6 has worked out of the box fine for me so I can't say it failed to produce.

Check the UV map, I have had things disappear if the UV map is not correct or corrupted UV coords. Also depending on the model (I have no idea what model you are loading) the normals can be messed up. If the normals are messed up, you can delete them from the obj file.

Thread: Does DAZ 3D starter pack contain full set of V3 RR head/body morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't work for Daz, but, I don't think there is any difference between starter bundled v3rr and v3rr seperately. I got the starter pack and it has a ton of morphs for v3rr. It is a nice figure, although I wish people made a few char faces for her. I think Yamato made a character for her, but never saw it turn up on his site.
I wish Daz would make aiko3 reduced rez but they said it is not being planned.

Thanks for the suggestions, might be the weld option or a case of user attention span. If no one else is having this problem then it must not be poser.
