AgentSmith, TY for the excellent link. You inspired me to dust off my copy of Bryce 4 and do some poser imports. I was able to successfully import Vicky and resolve the texture issues. What I need a refresher on is converting poser trans maps for Bryce. I had a number of excellent tutorials bookmarked on the subject but alas, as poser2bryce has gone out of style, those links are all dead. The Peter Sharpe tutorial mentioned trans maps but was missing some of the key steps.

AS, when I import Vicky into Bryce the head texture isn't applied. Also, the material zone around her eyes that is supposed to give the eyes highlights/make them look "wet" is opaque white. I'm sure theres solutions for these problems because I see vicky used quite well in some bryce pics, but it doesn't seem to be common knowledge.

WOW, these are hardly glowing reviews. Sounds like one set of problems exchanged for another. Doesn't quite live up to the name "turbo", more like turbulent. I haven't had any problems importing posette into Bryce, and I've even mastered poser2bryce transmapping. I hit a brick wall with Vicky, having to apply a separate texture to the head and also dealing with that material zone around her eyes that renders opaque white. Anyone care to enlighten me? :)

HUGE tragedy. Don's art was inspiring, imaginitive and really showed the way for new artists. His art showed vulnerability and humanity, you felt like you knew Don just by looking at his work. God bless him, I will miss his work.

It is a sad fact of the galleries here, overt sexuality gets more attention. I tested this myself recently, if you look at my last 2 gallery images, its a scary difference. Its understandable though, if you're hungry, you want to eat a hamburger. And if you're a human, you want to see nudity! :)

Was that rendered in Poser 4? I miss the simplicity of poser 4 bump maps, and the render you've posted looks very good. Thats the kind of effect I want, the render I posted doesn't look like a bump to me, just looks like a black and white version of the texture. Is it possible that anyone could post a link to any relevant tutes or threads? TY :)
