fran- Have you tried using a download manager?

Used FDM and managed to get 94% in 2 hours (pretty quick considering).

If it does hang, at least you can continue later without havib-ng to start from scratch (i hope)

Just registered, which took 1/2 hour. Then when i tried to log onto the site i was told that the page could not be found.

Looks like we'll just have to wait (or set your alarm for 3 in the morning!!)

Just registered, BUT, when i tried to log back on from the email link, got the message

 "FATAL DATABASE ERROR

Error Message: DB Error: connect failed - [nativecode=Too many connections]" and a load of script.

Looks like word has really got around quick. TOO MANY FREELOADERS!! (hold on...that would be me as well!)

Hope it calms down so i can download. Looks like i will have to set the alarm for 4:00am.

Had a play last night.  Tried loading a poser head obj and it did not like it one bit. program froze on me everytime i tried loading.  Also, how do i stop it falling over?

Tried the idea with the smoke/cloud texture but it was too fine. Thought about volumetric texture to make it look more like grit or particles breaking off a flying backwards, but i'm not to good with volumetrics (NO patience!!).

Just thinking out loud...would rendering the figure face on as an alpha, then using the image to create a terrain, turn it on its side, then.....now i'm stuck again for textures.

I prefer to work with bryce mats. I keep thinking of Gieger when I look at what can be done with this prog.

OH.  MY. GOD.  As someone who loves 'weird' this looks SO cool. Anyone know were i can get some cool organic textures to go with it?
