Thanks to you both for your replies! I forgot to state that the distortion only occurs on the left arm, so it doesn't seem like joint scaling would cause it.......surely it would affect both arms? Will look at the deformer suggestion.

"I was just over there checking on things when I got the email that you had responded to the forum, I couldn't find any images listed for gdmora at all!!! I don't know if he pulled them off or if the site pulled them. Mean while I found some more images that belonged to someone else and I wrote them about it, I also checked to see if their images were still listed and those images are gone too! From time to time this may happen again, that is why I keep a copy of my comments that I post (like what I used today) and a copy that I send to site admins. filed in my documents folder, so when I need them all I have to do is copy & paste them and it does save a lot of rewriting time."
This is the first time my image (maybe more than one - who knows?) has been stolen as far as I know - only been posting for a couple of months and it hadn't even occurred to me that someone might lift one of my images and upload it elsewhere!! I'll know better in future and keep copies of anything like that I make replies to - thanks for the hints!! Hope it doesn't happen too often, tho' (but then, don't think most of my art would be worth stealing anyway, lol!!)

Maybe a small 'hooray' here..?? ;o))"
Yippee - looks like we did it - definitely warrants a small 'hooray' I'd say!!

"It is good to see our members there and leaving comments (vlaaitje). This seems to be an effective way to get the word out. I would suggest including a Spanish translation in addition to the English one.
I posted a variation of the cease and desist letter and suddenly cannot navigate around the site anymore. Do you think that maybe I've lost my treasured membership to XWall???
:)"
I think you may be right there, about your XWall membership, lol!! What a tragic loss :)

Addendum: It would be funny if it wouldn't be so sad: they stole one of mine off of a webpage that already stole it BEFORE...and it still has the first thieves sig on it.
That is sad!! Why do people do that?!

Quote - I can see why he stole your work, that image on the front page is wonderful! I'm ganna have to check out your work for myself! Don't worry I wont post it anywhere!!! LOL I don't know why he chose the image of mine that he did???? It has to be one of the worse one's that I have posted, if he was going to steal one, why not get one that looked better than that one!!! LOL Did you copy and paste you comment in "notepad"? This way if you have to post it again, you can c&p it right out of the notepad and wont have to rewrite it all over. I do think that I will post my comment every day for that image whether he deletes the comments or not. This will keep it on the front page for all to see (EVERY DAY). ROFLMAO!!!!!
Did you mean my Fairy Flowers pic?
If so, thanks - I didn't get back to the frontpage fast enough to see yours, it seems - all those images have gone off the front page, and I think mine has indeed been deleted, since a search for my name, or the title, no longer comes up with anything!! Of course he may have renamed it.............................
I may just take a stroll over to your gallery, too, when I have some time :)
I didn't think of copying my comment to notepad, but then it looks as though I didn't have to - I certainly can't face searching through all those web pages looking for my images, lol!!
Hope that's the last we hear of gdmora!

Quote - Well..... Mr gdmora is going to have a big suprise when he reads the front page. I posted my comment, so now he has 3 on the front page where everyone can see. Don't forget if he deletes the comment, to keep reposting, the worst that could happen is that we get banned from that site. This will prove that the site doesn't care what is posted there.
Yeah - I'll do that - wouldn't want him to get out of that one, would we?!

Quote - Sadly, all of those images are available for direct download I just discovered....all one has to do is click the words right below the images
Yes - I noticed that immediately - but then I suppose anyone can copy and paste an image from the galleries here with just a right click - I personally don't mind people using my images as desktop wallpaper, but I would appreciate a request for permission for any other usage!

Quote - If anyone reads it before he can erase it, they will know that he can't be trusted and you know how fast something like that can spread through a site. Hopefully he will be soooo embarrassed, especially if people are persistant in posting that comment over and over, not to mention having several others posting the fact that he's doing this to many other artists illegally. Maybe he will learn a good lesson from this.
Well - I just visited the Front page of the xwall site and its there for all to see at the moment - plus another similar comment from an aggrieved artist - hope this does the trick!!

Sorry to hear that can't contact gdmora here, jumpstartme2 - there's no contact details on the xwall site for him ;( - though of course I'm glad that he has been so promptly banned!!
Good idea, CoolBreezeLady!! Will leave a comment right now!
Thanks

I haven't got time to read the whole thread - so I'll just give the details of my stolen image.

Thread: Paradise Hair by 3Dream - does it work in Daz Studio? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
UPDATE:
I've now bought and installed Paradise Hair, and it seems to work fine in Daz Studio, even the mats seem to work ok, without having to manually apply them. :thumbupboth:
Haven't had much time to use it, but am well satisfied at the moment.
Thanks again, both, for your help!! Its nice to know that people are ready and willing to offer their help so freely.

***Modus *** said: "I just checked, and yes it will work, although it seems you'll have to manually load and apply different hair textures"
Yes, I thought that might be the case, but its a small price to pay for such beautiful hair, as long as the renders work properly!!
Guess I'll nip to the marketplace and place my order!
Thanks for your help.
