This is wonderful Pokeydots. It is such fun to play with huh? In fact I told Sharen earlier that I consider it my "Virtual Doll House" I loved my doll house when I was a child. Gee, we must be going through a nostalgia phase in this forum every since Sharen posted their wonderful desk! :)

They worked great Sharon! Thanks again for your help. It's like having a doll house again! Next I'll be working on the lighting to get it to look like the lights are on inside and then of course I want to furnish it and go play inside. I hate having to go to work... I can't play here. :(

Yes! They were great. I used to play "School" with mine (Gee, go figure) but "I" was the teacher in my little play world and the stuffed animals and dolls were the "Students!" ...LOL You know I'll have to ask my Mom, I think she still might have mine in the attic. I should have her get it for my 2 children. If I didn't think they would freak out and tell me how OLD I am! The trick would be getting it from California to Ohio where I live now! I can hear my kids now "Thank gosh!" Ha Ha!

Yes, Sharon don't ever worry about going on and on...especially about wonderful memories such as those. I had a desk like that too except my Papa (Grandfather) gave it to me. He past when I was a child too, so I can relate to those sweet memories. Don't know that I got much homework done there either... :)

Hey Codeman! Heard a lot about you. Glad to see you have made it back. I had asked a question about making tears in Poser awhile back and quite a few people had brought up your name and Spew4U. I had thought that it was very cool that people had remembered you even though you had been gone for some time. I looked everywhere with no luck but when Seed found you I went right to your site and was very impressed. So to answer your question YES I would be very interested in your new stuff. Can I make a suggestion? Maybe go and post a new message in the forum to say Hello. Reason being there are quite a few people that spoke about you that are not in this thread that will not see your post here. I'm sure everyone would be glad to hear from you and would love the chance to get some of your new stuff. I'm very new to the wonderful world of Poser and 3D in general. But I have found that Renderosity is a great place and everyone is so nice and happy to help. Well, I'm glad to see your back after hearing so much about you. Ok does this help put .rsr files and .hr files etc. where they need to be? I don't understand those files and nothing I download works IF I can even find it. Poser is terrible when it comes to files. Most of it is probably me but darn, I don't have a problem with Bryce. It's a breeze! You know I don't even really know what all the files are except for the the .obj, and the texture files. Well anyway, Sorry about venting but I'm trying to learn Poser on my own and I have tried to read the tutorials and I still get sooo confused. If this will help placing these folder you will be my hero! Oh by the way I clicked on your link at it said Page can't be displayed? Oh I do read the Read Me files but in order to read these files I make a new folder for every download but I don't know how to get the files from there to lets say the geometry file etc.

I'm trying to create a night time scene (Halloween night) but it still looks as if the light is coming from the top left or up front. I want more control of the light and the color of the light, if I can. If I turn the sun icon to the moon icon I get a purple affect or a number of other colors based on the sky I choose. I want to use stars etc. but choose the light myself.

Yeah, I was going to say that...NO! Just kidding! To be honest I have a hard enough time learning the Poser basics. I have not even attempted to try the animation side of Poser yet. So, unfortunately Phuture I can be of no help, but it sounds like you have some pretty qualified people helping you out. Good luck! Well, heck when I opened up poser again to do what you suggested Phuture the dang window was back!!! LOL whatever I clicked on before closing did the trick, course I would have liked to have known what I did in case it happens again! :) Thanks for the help. Thats what happens when I leave it open and my 3 year old decides she wants to play with all the Poser people... :)
