I have a free updater on my website that will allow you to use the mermaid tail on Victoria 3 without fussing, though the complete Aquamarine character only works on Victoria 1/2. The updater also updates my Copperhead snake tail for Victoria. - Dan

Vina D still uses Dina textures. The Natalia and Dina texture maps are very similar to each other. They're not like Vicki. It would take quite a bit of work to remap either figure though it's certainly possible. There are actually quite a few third party textures available for these two now as well. There was a method behind my madness when creating the texture maps for these figures. Vicki 1/2 has a seam on both sides of her head because her head is mapped front-to-back. Dina and Natalia's heads are cylinder mapped so the only seam is at the back, and an area at the top of the scalp (which would normally be covered by hair anyway). The Vicki 1/2 body map has the back inverted relative to the front. Dina and Natalia are mapped in the same orientation, with perfect side-to-side alignment. This means that if you want to make a tattoo or zebra stripes or some pattern that wraps around the figure horizontally, it should be easier to accomplish with less trial and error to get the seams to match. I haven't had any experience with the texture converter, but certainly a plug for Dina and Natalia would be welcome.

Oct. 11 sounds okay to me, too. :) Yesterday the spider was catching wasps and bees in its web. I think aphids wouldn't even be an appetizer for this thing. It has eyes bigger than most aphids I've seen. I won't go anywhere near it. - Dan

This weekend is bad for me. Thanks for the offer for the Rosemary, but I have one already. It started as a cute little sprig, and now it's trying to take over the entire back yard. The plant is being guarded by an enormous garden spider.

I don't know of anyone who has tried remapping Dina to take Vicki textures, though it's certainly possible if someone wanted to put in the time. The front and back halves of Dina's body were mapped in the same orientation so that the seams would align perfectly, making it easier to do textures with tattoos or other designs on the sides of the arms and legs. The mapping was also designed to produce minimal texture distortion. The head was mapped cylindrically, again to eliminate seams. This made her not compatible with Vicki textures, but at the time it seemed like a superior system. There are a number of excellent textures for Dina/Vina available now as well.

There's also a version of Cyclopeia for Victoria 1 and 2. The Natalia version has all the optional body parts, including the third breast. Both are add-ons, so you have to either have Victoria or Natalia to use Cyclopeia.
