No, I didnt use Infinite. I rendered 360 panoramas (with various exposures) in Vue5 Esprit and then assembled HDRI maps in HDRShop or Photomatix.

I think its shadows error, known in first Vue 5 release. It is corrected now, but it seems that this error still remains in demo version.

IMHO only thing you can do within Vue is set oversampling of leaves material to bilinear. Its set to none by default and this should help a little. Materials look then more blurry, but pixelisation disappears. Other possibility is create own materials with higher resolution.

Yes, I have probably the same problem. Try this: When youre loading scene into Vue 5, dont click with mouse on other windows (even better, dont touch mouse LOL). I dont know why, but my Vue 5 hates when something happens during loading - for example Im loading scene, then suddenly shows pop up window with new email from my mail client and Vue stays blank...strange...

I noticed something similar like problem 1. I need render images 800512 pixels. I set up this resolution in Render options. Vue remembers it and everything works fine until I open render options again, then its 800510. Its pretty annoying, because I usually forget change it :) ad problem 2 - I didnt notice any problems with DPI, anyway I agree with agiel, this is not necessary.

Unfortunatelly, as far as I know, theres no method how to convert max to other format except 3DS Max. .max is proprietary format. I know that Deep Exploration can convert it, but you must have 3DS Max installed too, because it calls external library from it.

I dont know if it is possible. Personally, Id render it twice. First image with tree, second without tree and then blend it together in Photoshop. This is method I used in my image "Relativity"
