Thread: Maximum size image | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Many thanks to all...I'm a newbie and there is lots to learn. My goal is to produce Poser images that I can then work on in Photoshop where I'm trying to mix and match 3D and digital photographs. My editor likes the idea but insists on the final image being 50MB (without interpolation). The pagefile workaround sounds great. Dizzie...the 49MB render took less than five minutes. Took a bit longer in trueSpace.

I answered my own question by changing the render options and using a new window with the result being a 49MB TIF file. Much better than I had hoped for. After doing a few images I got an error "insufficient disk space..." Only work around was to reload Poser4 (or reboot). My Win2K box has about 30 GB unused hard drive space and one GB Ram. Is there any other solution to "insufficient disk space" problem besides reloading? Thanks.

Thanks. I've tried all of the above. Nothing works. Vicky3 has a bug. Vicky2 works fine. I don't use them...the Spandex Morphs simply appear on their own. Even after I deleted them from the library.

Velen...thanks very much. So far no success. I have deleted the spandex stuff under Full Body Morphs but the spandex still shows up. I installed the head and body morphs and then injected them all into Vicky3. Nothing like this happened with Vicky2. Vicky3 also has black nipples (is this spandex?) I would really appreciate advice. I want to work Vicky3 in Photoshop (after texturizing in trueSpace) but the spandex totally screws it up.

Finally got it! For some weird reason I had a double menu in the FILE menu...one worked, one crashed. At any rate, Vicky 3 is 100 times better than Vicky 2 (which I bought last month)The detail is what a 3D model should look like. DAZ did a great job.

Apparently my problem lies in exporting an OBJ document. Poser4 isn't doing it. The file shows zero size. It makes two files one ends MTL the other OBJ. Both zero size. After I go thru the export OBJ the FILE command choices are grayed out. No choice but to exit Poser. Perhaps I need to reinstall Poser plus the update? None of the Poser characters will export as OBJ. However all but Vic3 will export fine in 3DS format. Thanks for your help.

Sue88...yes, I did check the eyes in the export options. I also tried DXF but it was awful (dark red overall and no eyes). I will try the luuv. Dan...I'll also try the balls props. At present I'm only using the head, neck and eyes of the P4male. Thanks again...it's fun but it ain't easy .

I really appreciate all the suggestions. I am new at Poser and trueSpace. What I don't grasp is when I add a prop(an eye in my case) to a Poser figure why doesn't it become part of the figure image? Of course, it does if I export it as Photoshop (PSD) file but I need to export it as a 3DS file so I can manipulate the figure in trueSpace and increase the resolution (which apparently isn't possible in Poser). I will use Photoshop for my final image after trueSpace and it has to be 50MB (it's for an agency). 3D is tough . Thanks.

Many thanks to all...I have a win2k box that I use primarily for Photoshop so I think (hope) it can handle Vicky. I'm defintely going to buy it and take a look at Cake's 1 Real Eyes. I really appreciate the help. denden
Thread: Prop origin problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks,Thgeisel...apparently, the BionicEye is different. It will move up and down...side to side but not rotate. I tried other props...they rotate fine. However, I'm a newbie so back to the books .
