DS is free, but free DS is very far from Poser in terms of tools. consider DS + equivalents tools such as those included in Poser.

Why do you tell me that Daz is free? I don't talk about Daz, I don't care Daz. Please don't change the topic.

So if asked so many times, what is the answer? 

Why is Poser not free when we got Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity and tons of products are free. 

Tools at poser are outdated already, mostly bugged or you need to know exactly how it works..

On the other hand, today, Poser failed so badly as it does make morphs unusable at some models if you save the project when those models are invisible. Again, I try to save my animation pose of V4 to library with all ticks on, but it refuse to save the size parameters of body parts.. Why? Because it's buggy and it does not work as intended.. What do you try to defend against me, a broken and expensive product?

If you know poser well enough and you think it works fine, go make some tutorials.. all the old experienced guys here does not have even a tutorial video... only some wall of texts time to time which you already need experience to understand it..

Try to make a single animation with IK first then talk to me too about your poser with equivalents tools..

First of all, I am an animator working full time at Poser. So I am using poser 10 hours per day. So I know poser, I know daz, I know others, I know the history and I know capitalism.

So, I got another explanation but not an answer. They are working on Poser, good.. but time is running. Poser is forgotten-ware already as I don't see anything from anyone at anywhere.. and there is no reason to buy Poser today if you are someone who is interested at 3D for any reason. Making poser not free, you just stop the communities to join.

As Renderocity marketing is about 10-15 years old with mails and a moderate forum without any proper live channels like discord, it becomes more harder to get new people.

IF poser gets somewhere, someday, all others would be miles away already.

I am at Poser side and I want to able to use it with proper content and program. We don't have both today. I use modified V4, Shasa-16 version which is way better at anything from that Le Famme thing.. Animation and IK systems are not working as I am losing tons of time just to correct feet on the ground..

I don't compare or talk about Daz3D.. it's an old discussion.. they won years ago, there is nothing to discuss.. But even Blender starts to bring pose saving, human creations and it gets better and easier everyday.

Why does Poser not have proper tutorials for years? Someone will pay for a bad, dated product to get, he won't able to find proper new content and there is no tutorials to explain how things work on it.. Am I the only person who finds that absurd?

There is NO free 3D program: at one moment, you pay, be it by the services, the plugins, the advertising or its market.
This is a global rule, for absolutely all items you can find on any market: nothing is 100% free, and it's even more true with markets that are tied to crypto-nightmares...

Something free has always been already paid.

Google, Facebook, Twitter everything free work this way.

You did not answer my question as I don't ask the philosophy behind free things in capitalism. But you are asking same question with your own words, why is Poser not "free but not free" already?

I haven't noticed a change. The only time I run into trouble is when turning IK on and off. Then sometimes one frame ends up with a high angle like 180 and another frame ends up at a basically equivalent -180. Either of which would be fine for a single key frame, but it makes a mess of intermediate non-key frames. Is that the issue you have, or something else?

If they don't fix this, there is totally no point to get a new poser if you are an animator. And tbh I don't know why would you use poser over daz if you use single renders anyway..

First thing I would do is make backup copies of your animation PZ3 files, just in case this does not work.

First question is are you finished with the animation movements? If you are happy with the results and don't plan to make more changes what I will describe will easy fairly easy to do. The first thing to do is turn OFF IK on your V4. Then turn it back ON. What this does is place Key Frames at all the joints that have IK movement (this would be things like knee bend). Now that you have those Key Frames go to Animation-->Resample Key Frames, Choice current figure and make a key frame every 1 frame. What this does is bakes in the IK movement without needing IK on. The problem is that it adds a Key at every frame and will make it hard to change your animation afterwards. Turn OFF IK and leave it off.

Now that your base figure is set apply your morphs.since these are new channels they should only have the one Key Frame and be easy to change along the time line.

Thank you for your reply. But I am using Shasha-16's special body pose morphs, like torso bendings. When I un-IK the animation, everything goes mad for that reason so I don't have that option. I must work with IK on. he hand posing system is working but others not. It's very lame and annoying.

And the answer people can say here is "NO". Poser is still not for free, just I don't get this. The program is already in coma and new version is not good enough. Here, veteran users, know some tricks to use Poser better but who would care to find those tricks and tries to use it on a barely working program which you pay for it?

I don't even care the new human models. Victoria 4 with Sasha-16 is the ultimate human with millions of morphs/hairs/cloths already so I don't see a reason to get those new humans at all. There is no modeler support as they can't sell anything at poser community because there is already so few people who left using this.

What version of Poser 11 are you installing and where did you get the copy you are trying to install?

If you are not using the Bondware/Renderosity version of Poser, it will behave exactly as you are seeing. All Smith Micro versions of Poser have been "turned off" at the SM servers because Bondware purchased Poser.

So, if we can, let's make sure you have a valid, working copy of Poser that you are trying to install.

Hey! I downloaded the final version from here as 11.2. I start poser, after the loading banner, the programs opens but only the background UI and after some seconds it crashes to desktop. I will try to use uninstaller program to clean old smith micro version. Thx!

Of course. Its windows 10. I tried rebooting my times. I did not make any driver upgrade for a while. I did not try logging off windows but i got an offline login anyway. Nothing was running when i try to open poser. Reboot and tried to start poser but always failed same.

Is there any possibility to use V4 morphs (mostly face) at Evolution?.. I got some furry morphs to try on her. A creature creation morph set would be awesome too..

I contacted to him and he said that figures will be ready for poser in 2-3 weeks. I think i will wait it..

Update:

I played with shadow min bias and it helped a bit. But the sudden strange shadowing catches me at some frames. I try different things and it disappear sometimes but i can't pinpoint the direct problem and at an animation frame, i can't move everything for just some frames..

Shadow min bias is 0,1.

I rendered 450 frame animation and there was corrupted ones (first and last example at 1.post) and good ones. But the shadow is the problem because every element got shadowing problem, not only ground object.

The funny thing is, i just removed only one part of the ground props displacement map and whole render get corrected, not only that ground part. Sam i will try the shadow bias..

What sort of shadows are you using? If it's depth mapped, there's your answer. Don't use 'em, they are garbage. If you are using them, have you got the "reuse shadow maps" option checked? If so and you absolutely are dead set on using depth mapped shadows, uncheck it.

No, its ray tracing and only one light with shadow. Now i tried it as single render and it's corrupted too.. I remade the lights but still same.. i restarted computer, no change..

Really strange..

Not: I changed the displacement maps of the ground prop to bump map and it corrected the shadows even at the models with displacement maps still. So the render can't handle all the displacement maps at the scene as i understand. Is there a solution about this?
