The model from the lighting challenge is way too detailed. its almost imposible to try and texture it. not for vue users.

and mind you real time rendering will never handle scenes with a few million polygons and high quality lighting. I would be happy with 5 minute render.

Vista Is a nice thing to experiment with. but from what I have read about it, You Really dont want to use it for your main computer. I quite frankly am never upgrading. never. nope.

I use vue as a counter part to my photography. sometimes i like to go out and take pictures, and sometimes i like to stay on my computer and make them. either way it is very important that I portray the beauty of the scene Im working on.ย it is just as important to do that with vue as it is with a camera, and sometimes photorealism helps portray that in an image.
Thread: WIP & Looping water and sky animation...? | Forum: Vue
do kind of the same thing as you did with the sky. use a vey large cylender with theh water on it and rotate it 360 in the direction you want. you have to make the cylender large enough that it dosent look curved where you see it
Thread: WIP & Looping water and sky animation...? | Forum: Vue
for the water you can render the animation, and then put a revese of it on the end so it can loop, but that might look strage

i did somthing like that, but i animated a terain with the texture on it to make it move. it works ok, but if any body has anything better I would like to see it.This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
