Hi, I don't know of any tutorials but Lifeforms exports standard BVH motion files which Poser can import. This would include basic body motion though and any facial or hand animation would have to be added within Poser. Basically you can do in Poser what Lifeforms offers, it's basically a choice of which you find preferable or easier to use as an animator or BVH editor.....Mike

The ony other thing I can think of is to save each object individually and import into Poser and assemble and set up everything there. With the scaling differences though, this would be a hair-tearing exercise!.....Mike

Thanks for the help. I've downloaded both and UV Mapper and I'll check them out. I have a feeling that it might have something to do with the way I am assembling the model in tS. I have joined objects which will have the same texture as each other with the "additive boolean" method and then grouped it all together with the "glue as ?" tool. I'll try what I can and post again if I can't solve it. Thanks again for the help.....Mike

Thanks Phil, Only one item shows up in preview and in render. I get the full sized bounding box when moving the object though, so the whole thing must be there somewhere. I'll try that in the morning and let you know. Thanks again Phil....Mike

That's good news. Now with the teething troubles fading, I'm looking forward to watching people getting deep into P5 and their reactions as they realise just how awesome it really is, (in working order). Many good things to come......Mike

Mine worked fine after early patches and then bombed out completely after a later patch. The latest patch has just about perfected it and it's now a very, very stable, interesting and potentious piece of software indeed.....Mike

That's very bad news indeed. Thats Mitch3D, Bat Lab..... A sign of things to come in our new digital age, I fear. A complete void of creative culture. Take the music industry for example...... I've actually seen individuals in this forum, attack in outrage, the right of an artist to restrict a freebie, followed quickly by discussion of how best to screw the artist concerned for having the audasity to assume he has control of his own creation. Unfortunately/fortunately, creative product can be restricted. Mine is so restricted for example, you'll never see it, hear it or read it. No matter what it's worth in cash. Mike

Thanks Emily. I've sorted out the hair in the hair room to an acceptable result. Has no-one got any ideas about the face/body tex's? Is it really a matter of trying to pick a coulor match by trial and error and error and error...LOL. I did look in DAZ following your inputs. Three different 'shops' to look through now!? As far as characters and their textures and hair go, I want to try and do it all in P5. I'm really amazed how little there is in the MP here for P5 characters and character items. Thanks again for the input.....Mike
