you need to apply a different skin mat- the purple is in the image of the default skin mat that loads with Victoria 4.
as far as missing dials- be sure to inject the morphs++ into V4 (found in "Pose"), under Daz Victoria 4 (just double click on the add morphs thumbnail).

"But make sure you have the latest drivers for your system, especially graphic display. That definitely helped me."
"And my OS and Poser 7 install were very fresh and uncluttered when I installed SR3. Don't know if that had anything to do with the good results or not, but just thought I'd mention it."
I did both of these and then some, and I have an off the shelf machine that I am sure is quite common.

Use the morphs in the clothing- breast size, hip size, etc.. (the dials). Sometimes the clothing morphs that come with the clothing are enough, sometimes not. I personally purchased PhilC's Wardrobe Wizzard 2:
www.philc.net/WardrobeWizard.htm
This allows you to add any morph from your human figure to the clothing, in order to get a perfect fit (you will still have to use the morph dials, but sometimes more morphs will allow a better fit). With Wardrobe Wizard you can also convert clothing from one figure to another. There are also a few here on renderosity that I have not used, but work just as well I am sure (and at a lower price than Wardrobe Wizard):

You can also use magnets in Poser, but as a newbie that may not be the way you want to go.
(Poser menu - Object*Create Magnet).
Your clothing does not look too far off, and you can most likely make it fit with the morphs supplied in the clothing (dials). Start with Breast size, and hip size/width, and play around with the dials a bit to see what they do.

SR3 has made my render times go from 1-2 hours to 24+ hours (I ended up just doing a Ctrl-Alt-Del after an overnight render would not even finish) ---wow. SR3 seems completely worthless to me. Maybe some are not having this problem, but it has been a royal pain in the butt for me, I really suggest not installing it.
I have read another thread here where people are saying -the developers can't test on every hardware config. etc...., and other excuses, possible workarounds, and other nonsense, but this is unacceptable.
I installed SR3, reinstalled SR3, uninstalled Poser, did a clean install, reinstalled SR3, defragged, increased my VM, blah blah blah. I spent nearly 2 whole days trying to figure out what the problem was- is it my recent windows update, my graphics card update, and was about to do a reformat- thankfully I did not. SR3 is worthless, don't do it.
I am back to 2.1, thank god I saved it and the render time is humming along nicely again. Just say no to SR3.

Thread: getting lights to follow main camera | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Select a light
Open the properties palette
Change it to be a spotlight
Set Parent button now becomes available.
Set parent --> Main Camera
Set the light type back to what you had it originally.
Repeat for the other lights. If you have the Poser Tool Box this is available as a one click button the the Light Tools section.
thanks for the input Phil, I don't have the Poser Tool Box, may one day - did purchase WW2 though, great work!!!
Anyway, can I do this with infinite lights?
Quote - I do this all the time! Ockham has a free python script called LightPanel.py; that will just parent all the lights, of any type, all at once.
searched for this script in the free stuff, but could not find it-is it here somewhere?
thanks
Thread: looking for realistic gymnastic props | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Chris, not sure if you are interested in selling the props, but I would be interested in the ones pictured, if they are finished- that is really all I need for now. I am deep in this project, and am having to mess with too many material settings on the set that I have- your set looks like it would fit my scene nicely. If you are interested, let me know.
thanks

Very nice looking so far!!! I would be interested in purchasing the set if you are going to sell it, keep me updated.
