Thanks a lot for explaining this **aeilkema! I hadn't thought about the idea of rotating the object in an orthogonal view.
@****Boogeyman: I think what he meant was that the dystopian city blocks are not allowed to be re-distributed as 3D objects. It would make no sense of your own Carrara creations had such a limitation.

Hi, nice work on the isometric graphics! I'm planning a game with a isometric tile engine also and was wondering how to set up the camera in Carrara correctly for this? I've already tried this in Vue but Vue has no isometric camera and it seems a bit more difficult to get the right result there.
So I was wondering if anyone has some useful hints for this?
Thanks,
pixel

Thread: Software to create realistic planetary images? | Forum: Community Center
Thanks for the hint but I've tried Universe Image Creator and it is actually a bit too limited for what I want to do. @pushinfaders I'm sure Mojoworld is capable to do alot more and get better quality and diversity but I'm sure it takes quite some diigin in the deep of the app. I think I stick with Photoshop for now unless somebody knows of any real hi-quality app for this task but it might be non existing. Here's an example of what I'm trying to achieve and I did it fully with only Photoshop.... http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1097561&Start=1&Sectionid=4&filter_genre_id=0&WhatsNew=Yes I doubt I get similar results with Mojoworld.

Yes I got that one, thanks! I'm looking for something however that is long hair and really looks like realistic wet hair. Maybe something like Kozakuros Long Hair Evolution just in wet! :)

Thanks randym but neither of them look very realistic honestly. I guess I will fiddle some with Posers dynamic hair then. -pixel

Ok, here's a picture of the problem... http://upload.corewatch.net/pics/Pool_Scene_Test2.jpg No, it's not a photographic edge effect from Pogotoshop! ;] If there's no way to get around it at a very small focal lengths I would import the scene into Vue and render it there. But if I import the scene into Vue, all objects are reset to their initial position. Would be great to know how to get that working too.
