Wow! That question was asked a few pages back - it seems to be happening to a few of us.

In my case, no. I installed SP2 when it came out with no problem.

For some reason I decided to try and open P5 and, as usual, it hung up at the splash screen - but, rather than shut it down and get the program not responding message, I waited for ages and it finally loaded. I think it took about 10 minutes although it seemed like half an hour. Maybe I just need patience '-)

I'm having the same problem and I tried all the things that you did. I have P6 so I now use that one but I'd love to be able to use P5 some of the time. The last item I installed was Miki from CL (although I doubt that's the cause).
I hope someone can offer a solution to this weird problem.

I want to keep up with this topic. I'd be very interested in this program if it does what it appears to do.

I bought Poser 1 when it first came out to help me learn to draw the human figure. I still can't draw a recognizable human but I've bought every version of Poser that's come out and, like Lyrra, I've been cursing at all of them. Still, I love it and will persist with this expensive and frustrating hobby for as long as I can.

I'm confused. Is this product only for people who do animations in Poser? I'm interested in converting poses from one character to another but I don't do animations. Is this product for me? Sorry to be so dense :(

A) would be my answer. And I now look at more outfits than I did before because I know I can use them on the characters I pose with the most.

I was able to do put myself on using IE (double shudder) but moving the cursor over the dots doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm keeping an eye on this topic. I've been thinking of getting a second monitor and I don't want to end up with the same problem as -WTB. And with my luck, it would.
