EClark, nowhere in my post does it say we should enslave anyone. The word I used was "understand". Only a moron has the ability to jump from "understand" to "enslave".

This is going to sound very off topic, but I promise, it is not:
We need to learn we cannot buy into a concept just because it is "logical". "Logical" does not automatically mean "true". Every bit of logic says the world is flat, and we did not discover it was round until people started setting logic aside and trusting what they could observe with their own two eyes.Â
My dad helped develop solar panel technology. The moment the technology was introduced, the price for the materials needed, which were originally very plentiful, went up 10,000 percent and got suddenly very scare. Thus, the prohibitive cost to make the panels. On his own, my dad developed a means to make them more effecient and affordable. When he applied for a patent, he was told someone else already owned the process, but that "someone" could not be named. We, the public, have been told that when demand gets high enough, prices will go down. That line was first delivered to us more than forty years ago, and yet the prices only keep going up. Three years ago a HUGE factory intended to employ 3,000 people was built just down the road from me to produce solar panels, but for reasons unknown, it never opened. It's now a giant, empty building and parkinglot.
Logic says money trickles down, and for centuries we've accepted that concept because it is logical. But the truth is, money goes only one way - up! No matter what, it only goes up! Use your own two eyes! How much of the money you make each week, month, year, do you put in the hands of people who have less than you? Now, how much of it do you hand over to people (companies, whatever) who have more than you? Answer: every penny of it. The money you give to the bum on the street corner, what does he do with it? He sends it back up! It only goes up!
You need to understand these ultra-rich people exist, but you will never know it, primarily because they deal in currency other than money, and, because they own the media - all forms of it. Their media tells us Donald Trump is rich. Hah! Trump is not rich, the truly rich laugh at Trump's few measely hundreds of millions. Bill Gates is not one of them. These ultra-rich people own 97 percent of the wealth in the world. The other three percent is currently on its way up to them.
Until we can understand this, we will continue to be slaves to the ultra-rich, who use the media they own to convince us our problems stem from the people below us, those lazy, good for nothing welfare recipients. The ultra rich actually collect exponentially more money from the government than the poor do, they just call it something other than welfare.
The rich tell us the reason we have it so bad is because THEY are being taxed too heavily. Truth is, money goes up, and if you tax the rich at 100 percent, it all ends up back in their hands anyway. It all goes up, back home to Popa!

Your problem is your dialogue. I write dialogue for a living. Try this:
Panel 1: "The interface is complete. Data, you in there?"
"Interesting. Scan indicates a micro emitter in his left eye.
"Mr. Barclay, I think you've found our clue."
Â
Panel 2: "Odd, there's a holographic program in B4's back up memory."
"Hmmm. Complex little bugger. What is it?"
"Only one way to find out."
               CLICK
Â
The less said, the better. Remember, the reason you are using comic format is to SHOW the action, not speak it. Take advantage of expressions, body language, actions, anything visual, and then say in dialogue only what cannot be said any other way. Â And use sound icons - example: don't say, "Computer, run the program..." show a hand pushing a button and "CLICK!"
If you have to resort to dialogue, write it, then cut out every other word.

"The socks from your dryer may also be there." Hah! Thanks.
Actually, for anyone even remotely interested, I opened Poser again, opened a new file and went to the "Render" screen (as opposed to the preview screen). Then down to the two little doohickies to the immediate left of the the slider thingamajig (not the animation slider, the one above it), started poking around with those and bam, there's my render, still going strong. Sorry if this was too technical.

Thanks, everyone. aRtBee, Octane is not somethin I have considered. Are you setting the scene in Poser and then rendering in Octane. The computer I intend to purchase is heavy on cores. With Octane, should I go another direction computerwise?Â
