yeah I did. I tried to register so I could post there, but had no clue what the answer to the question he was asking on the registration form. I'm sure if I sifted through all the posts there I'd find something, but I get bleery eyed trying to sift through everything. He seems to have a tutorial for everything on his sight except for wardrobe wizard. go figure. R

Latexluv: where do I find the VSS skin system? hborre: Right now I'm just working with poser 7. I have heard great things about poser pro (inclusive of reduced render times) but haven't gotten it yet. It is on my wish list at the moment. :) R

I've been delving in and just playing with all the render settings and pixel raising the pixel samples seems to be the winning answer for the blemishes. If I do get them again I will post the image. I've done so many renders at this point the old one is gone. TrekkiGrrrl... I've taken your advise and ignored the warning signs. other than the blemishes, it seems to work fine. and now that I've upped the pixel samples, they aren't much of a concern anymore lol. Thanks for the advise guys... hopefully I can get back to posting something again soon. R

I do indeed. I even tried manually loading textures with the SreeD preview setting and it just didn't recognize the transparency maps in the preview. And when I loaded one for the corneas, the eyes just became white. Once again, it renders fine, but annoying in the preview. I usually save my characters with textures because most of my texture work I do in the poser file when I'm creating the character. and I have in the past worked on the textures further after the fact, but it's easier to just re-save the texture (with a backup of the old one of course) than to re-load every character part. Anyway... dunno what's up with this, but I'll go back to the to settings and manually load again. Was just trying to save a bit of time today. Thanks for the reply, R

hey guys... sorry i haven't been able to post or comment for awhile. I had my laptop stolen the first day I arrived in town for my new job from the house they put me up in and just got the replacement today. I won't be able to post for awhile, until I get home to grab my backup install disk for poser. right now I am working with the bare OS. I have about 150 or so posts to catch up on but I promise to be posting again within the next few weeks... Just wanted eveyone to know I wasn't slacking..lol R
