Saxon, It is NOT guaranteed that you have a virus. Many times code can appear similar to viral code and trigger the same flags, but it does not necessarily mean you have gotten a virus. I understand you are being careful, but you are making the assumption that it is a done deal, and not your scanner. Your insulting anyones quality care may just be that, an insult. The problem, as staed before, could be entirely on your end. Wait til you get a response before castinga llegations.

Many of us, me included, have had an overall fantastic relationshiip with Daz, EVEN WHEN THERE HAVE BEEN ISSUES with our purchase, product, etc. I stand among those who have sent very nasty message to them, only to have them respond with a very over-reaching, positive level of support (even though I was rude in the email). They have been having support issues lately, and I agree that it seems to have been going on longer than should be expected. Check here to see if anyone can help you. If not, I am sure they will provide you with a refund.

Their system has been doing things like that a lot lately. My original PC club subscription was set to expire as of midnight on the set day. It even said as much when I checked my account information online. However, when I tried to make some purchases under the wire (around 6pm CST), the subscription had already expired. I wrote to Daz about it and they VERY GRACIOUSLY reinstated my PC sub (temporarily of course) and gave me a whole extra 7 days to make the purchases. Annoying - YES, but Daz MORE THAN made up for it (even though I sent them a not-so-nice email about the issue). So, long story short (too late) I feel your pain, and I as sure they will make it up to you.

The closest thing that would be easy for you to use is to obtain the freely available sourcecode and SDKs for most of the major game engines. These are the same tools that game mod makers use to create modifications to these games. You would have to write your our extensions to create the appropriate controls for moving and modifying your characters in realtime, but it could be done pretty easily. ANd the good part is that because it is for broadcast TV, you only have to work with a really low resolution (less than 500x500, so you can do A LOT with no slowdown, even in realtime.

No, someone here posting problems is very welcome, as many times it helps others out who are having the same problems. Someone who posts here after ignoring ample support provided elsewhere is not welcome, as they are just being trolls.

Although I have had problems with/at Daz, they have ALWAYS been helpful and supportive and tried to address the issues, and this is even after I have been a complete and utter prick to them. May I suggest instead of acting like a raving lunatic, that you invest some money in a good internet connection. You seem to have the money for all of these purchases, so why you cannot afford to buy a better Internet connection, I do not know. Even if you cannot get a better connection, there are Internet cafes and Kino's like places where you can rent a computer for an hour at a time for a VERY reasonable rate, where you could download your purchases and burn them to disc without any problems. You know, MOST people here have not had the problems that you have, which leads me to believe that the problem is with YOU and not Daz. Prepared to be "politely" flamed by a whole sh1tload of people who support Daz. In this case, you deserve it.

If it is entirely within the rights of people to blowup at every little thing around here (and yes this was little) then I am completely within my rights. I am sorry. This place is too full of shoot first ask questions later. A bunch of "I sorry" after the fact does nothing to improve anything. People should try asking questions first before they go ballistic. And, for the record, this place is NOT a democracy. It is a somewhat benevolent dictatorship founded on a bit of capitalism. The mods/owners here manage to do things every now and then that "stir the pot" which sets everybody off, only to somehow calm down a few days later. The simple fact is, if you don't like things, suggest improvements/ask questions/GET THE FACTS. If changes that you do not like occur, get used to them or leave. It IS as simple as that. If enough people leave, the mods/owners will realize their folly and make change or they will go out of business. Simple economics. A bit honey goes a lot further than piss vinegar.
