Try stretching it so that it's height is greatly exaggerated. Then try your distance render from the top. Steve S.

A meteorite streaking through the earth's atmosphere would be heated by friction to the point where it would be glowing and leaving a trail of flame (that's what shooting stars are.) But I agree with Erlik that the flames in your pic might be a bit too billowy. The meteor would be traveling at thousands of miles per hour causing the flames to be little more than a streak. What you really need is Inverse Kinematics (IK), something that Bryce doesn't have. IK is what Poser uses which allows you to pull on a hand and have the rest of the arm and body follow. I'm not sure if there is a solution to your problem. Is it possible to link the piston arm to yet another object (a null object) which keeps it constrained in the Y direction? Steve S.

Instead of doing keyframes at 0,180, and 360, try placing them at 0, 120, 240 and 360. Steve S.

Check out an app called Ripple Rain. It creates both the falling drops as well as the ripples. Check out the gallery. But at $100 it's a little pricey for such a limited program. They've got a demo you can d/l. Steve S.Thread: I need a program that separetes the colors of one single image. | Forum: Bryce
Paint Shop Pro and Corel Photopaint will also separate an image into channels, and they cost a LOT less than Photoshop. Steve

I've got a coupla tuts at my site for doing water. There's one for large-scale waves and one for circular ripples. You may be able to combine them to get the effect you want. The ripple one requires a paint program. Paint Shop Pro has gotten to be pretty powerful and very reasonably priced. But I'm not sure if it has the ripple pattern needed for the tutorial. http://www.geocities.com/stevensanvito/page0006.html Steve SanvitoThread: Bryce 6 suggestion-list. Humorix, the mirror tool already exists. Click on the little white triangle under the Scale tool and select Flip X, Y, or Z. Steve S

I think it could use a little atmosphere. Maybe a little haze or fog. And the light is a little too white. Making it a bit yellowish might help. Steve Sanvito

In your original post, when you were selecting it, are you sure you were selecting the entire group? Or maybe just the cylinder within the group. Just guessing. Steve S.

what about the stone wall texture? You may need to go into the DTE and play around with the settings, but it should give you a good start. Steve S.
