If I could make any suggestion, it would be to make the fabric of the tunic a bit more coarse (kinda like the texture on your Anakin figure). :-)

Damn, that sucks. Sure seems a stupid thing to be banned for, especially when I have seen other posters get away with a lot worse. These are indeed strange times...

Thread: "DAZ|STUDIO isn't going to be competition for Poser..." | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
After reading through all these posts I wonder if it would even be legal for Daz Studio to write it's own PZ3, or CR2 files? Importing a file is one thing, but saving a file using Curious Labs' file format may be stepping over the line ... Would Daz need to license the file format, and could they?
There was some controvosy about this a while ago, when in the first P5 EULA, Curious Labs said that they owned the Poser file format, and therefore they owned any figures that were created with it (or something like that). That's why DAZ didn't create any content for P5, and only for P4, which didn't have that clause in its EULA. Anyway as other members pointed out, you cannot copyright a file format, and CL ending up removing that from the P5 EULA.
So, DAZ is free to give D|S Poser functionality, just as CL is free to give Poser D|S functionality. I am pretty sure that is correct, please correct me if I'm wrong. :-)

I think it's safe to say that they'll tidy it up. Hell, look at the preview pic:
Unrendered V3 looks just as good as a rendered V3 in Poser!! And I remember reading something about the D|S render engine and Renderman, don't remember what, but Renderman sure is good... :-D ;-)

D|S is not a "plugin" for Poser, it is a seperate application that over time will have more and more functionality added on to it via plug ins. At first, all it will be able to do is import .PZ3 files and render them with its brand spankin' new renderer. It has been said that the first version of D|S will be able to save renders, but not scene files. I think MallenLane said that, correct me if I'm wrong. Later versions will be able to save scene files as well, but when it is first released, it will just be a seperate renderer for Poser. As to whether or not it will be competition... at first, I think not, seeing as it will just be a kind of "add on" for Poser. However once they start releasing posing and animation plugins, yes, I think it will start giving Poser some serious competition. DAZ have also stated on their site that they intend to create a D|S specific file format, so I wouldn't be suprised if once D|S is fully up and running, that they stop making products for Poser, and start making them specifically for D|S (although Curious Labs could add in D|S file format functionality in a future release of Poser, just like D|S will have Poser file format fucntionality in addition to its own). Just my two cents. :-)
Thread: M3 Samurai -- Almost Done! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Hehe, ok so tenfold might have been a bit of an exaggeration. He looks great now and I'm sure the lack of underclothing will be much less noticeable once he gets his neck piece. :-)

Looks very good, but I agree with the others... some sort of under shirt would improve it tenfold. Mabye you could paint a cloth texture directly onto his skin, or make a texture for the body suit that will most likely come out? But apart from that, it looks fantastic!!

Your Redcap got pretty close:
Apart from not being green, or having a long chin, that's what I think a goblin should look like. But enough out of me now. ;-)
I love your M2 Orc, it's one of my favourite figures... can't wait to see what you do with M3!! :-)

I'd prefer both distorted and normal, like with your orc. I don't know whether you're after ideas on it's apperance or not, but this is what I have always imagined goblins to look like (except less cartoony):
Pretty much, long nose, chin and ears. Thus far I havn't seen any 3d goblins for Poser or otherwise that look like that, so I thought I'd throw that picture your way if you need any inspiration. :-)

I hope D|S or the next version of Poser has a fur plugin of some kind, it would be really great on models like this!!
