Thread: Usually late with this kind of thing but... | Forum: Vue
That looks neat, but surely not useful for a sphere :D
In this image it looks like some wicked space brain thing minus the testicles (;
Which of course is awesome in it's own right :D

Thread: beta testers for vue objects? | Forum: Vue
looks fine, and another good place to check is over at the Cornucopia 3D site, plenty of testers willing over there... but there are plenty here as well i am certain. Good luck stove looks neat.
Thread: How Has it Changed You? | Forum: Vue
I started with Terragen about 9 years ago ( which Vue has only recently surpassed terrain wise I must say (; )
Moved to Bryce and shortly realised something was missing, and that something was Vue. IÂ have been at it since V4 Pro and cannot love it enough. Although e-on is doing some pretty rtotten and greedy things lately with the upgrades and pricing, it is still my software of choice without a question.
Thread: AO maps ? | Forum: Vue
I know i used to scan over that from time to time but alas since my last crash i cannot find the article. I think it was over at CGTalk, but not 100% certain, loved it though a lot of it is common sense IMHO there are few who match his skills in texturing.
Thread: AO maps ? | Forum: Vue
Yeah, i knew it didnt render them out at all, and the specular maps that ShaderMapPro/CrazyBump makes i find useful for bumps and Specular at times, but I have yet to find a practical use otherwise for the AO maps themselves.
Thread: Instled Correctly message Windows 7 | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I use DazStudio, but am an old Poser user so what I did was create a standard Poser folder tree in my Program files: Program Files/e-frontier/Runtime/Poser/Poser.exe and then just install everything tinto there and then just search the Runtime whenever i start up DS. I just prefer it all this way, but i do not think it would matter enough for this to be the problem.

UAC is off, i however thought about doing the compatability mode thing, but would be a real PITA for every time (;
Thread: Building a machine for under 2 Grand ? | Forum: Vue
So far I have these 2 built :
Not much of a difference, but the TD one is closer to what i need/want,
As for the newegg, well i think it is quite pricy... even more so than BestBuy (;

also, the AlienWare one is a bit more than I need...so it is all a bit wonderous :D
Thread: Building a machine for under 2 Grand ? | Forum: Vue
I built my last one, but that was about 3 yearsago, and it is kinda out of date. I am staying tihe US right now and heading back to Europe after the New Year and would like to built it before i go. I have a 650W 220V power supply there already, so can change out that one. I am thinking maybe somewhere i can maybe buy the mainboard with the videocard RAM and processors already attached :D
For mouse I have a Razer Copperhead, for keyboard have the Logitech G11 gaming, and for monitor i have a Dell 32" already waiting over there. My main interests are the mainboard, video card CPU's and RAM. I would MUCH prefer to have them already preassembled and just pack them in my suitcase because shipping is gonna cost a fortune in taxes.
Thread: Vue 7 Fantasy | Forum: Vue
Sorry, IÂ am a long time Vue user and i know there is nothing better in it's class...not even close.
But forgive me for thinking this is kinda silly. Vue is becoming more and more like Poser IÂ guess.
Buy a product containing character, poses, camera, setups, lighting and props render away and call yourself an artist...geez.

Thread: Vue 8 test renders | Forum: Vue
I am most curious about these "strata filters"
are they in the function editor ?
could we (Â MEÂ :DÂ ) ask for a step by step ?
Thread: Vue 8 first Impressions and Screens | Forum: Vue
I would like to see some more impressive shots of the "overhangs" and horizontal digging/sculpting myself (;
I have been waiting for that since 4 Pro
